What a very cute JRPG ^^
The battle is incredible, but if you don't own a decent controller like me
(I use XBOX Series X Controller to play this game) - You screw up ^^
This game is intended to play with a controller so you can easily beat all these monsters and grind for a better equipment
I will add a Controller tag to this game so people will not confuse about how you will battle the enemies.
If you like to sit and play good RPG Games with a joystick, this may be your game.

To be honest, I never had the chance to play a lot of JRPG genre games, only a few in their golden age on ps 1 and ps 2.
The first time I played this game, I felt a little confused with the mechanical controls. However, after using the controller according to the developer's advice, I started to feel better when fighting.
This unique ATB mechanism makes me often panic in fighting. We are indeed only controlling two people, but this is more difficult than it looks. Believe me, even after playing this game for more than 2 hours, I'm still trying to adapt to the battle mechanics, maybe because I'm too new to this genre and often play regular turn-based instead of ATB.
Overall, the biggest advantage of this game is the quality of the story, which is satisfying; even though I haven't finished finishing this game, the way the author tells the story of these two children makes me laugh quite often.
If you like JRPG with an ATB system that keeps your mind and hands active before the enemy beats you up, this game might be for you. I'm not very familiar with it, but I quite like the quality of the story.
Good job; I'll probably try to finish this game.

I've always been a diehard fan of the RPG that carries the ATB system. Just mention it like Final Fantasy V, VI, VII, VIII, IX they are all my favorites! So when I saw a new RPG maker game that carried this system, I was very enthusiastic.
This might be my serious review considering that I really support the indie game climate of the JRPG genre.
1. Opening
The first time I played, I felt a stutter in the map scrolling section in the village; it made my head quite dizzy I don't know why; is this my VGA error? I don't understand, but I tried to hold it and play again.
Some of the text in the opening video was also unreadable because it was quite fast, but the delivery of their story premise was quite striking.
2. Battle
In the first battle, I was not familiar with the controls, but after looking at some of the help files and info presented in the user interface, I started to find the rhythm of the game.
It will be very satisfying when you manage to attack and defend in the next second, making the damage given by the monsters very small and sometimes tasteless. I'm starting to like it even more. I always play any game using my Xbox controller. Control the game feels quite comfortable.
The difficulty level of battle in this game starts to become difficult when you don't take the time to look for materials and craft your equipment; this is very fatal! I just realized that they are quite generous with putting a lot of material items on each map so that we can really take advantage of the crafting features.
3. Crafting
The Crafting system here allows you to increase elemental levels by sacrificing materials from monsters and crystals. It's very interesting because almost all the monster materials that you can finally have a use ^^. Crafting is the key to this game, so when I try to continue the story without focusing on crafting, I start to feel the enemies are getting harder to beat.
4. Story
The story presented is very simple, you are two children who live in one village, living life like a village child like you can until a naughty cat keeps you in danger, lol. The story is quite relaxed and funny, in my opinion, especially in terms of Rucifar, who is very innocent and finds it difficult to understand what Luna wants.
I think that's all I can say, this game is good, but the RPG genre that carries atb is very niche these days. I'm sure the jrpg fans out there will welcome this game well if they don't really care about 3D graphics or current graphics.

So I have some thought about some aspect of this game that I want to share to everyone~
Gameplay
The gameplay is centered between advancing story, doing side quest, making things with Luna alchemy (damn Luna, you really are a genious!), farming materials for alchemy and battling monsters that get in your way. The battle itself is very unique since it's using Active Time Battle (ATB) where you put some command to Rucifar while command Luna what item to make/use in battle (Yes, you can make item while battling by quick alchemy). The command input itself is pretty hard at first since I need to get used to this 'complex' battle system, but after you get used to it, it becomes pretty fun!
Story
The story revolves around 2 kids, Rucifar and Luna. Rucifar is strong but idiot, Luna is smart but weak. The way they complete each other is so sweet in my opinion. Even Luna get jealous when other girl try to approach his Ruci haha. There's no heavy conflict so far as I play, although the intro have some heavy background on the story, which build up my 'concern' as to what will happen on ward.
Graphic
It's classical 2D graphic like any other 2D JRPG you can found, but I can see the great effort they put on every map. It's hard to believe that this game is made using RPG maker engine tbh. Pretty good graphic for indie rpg maker game.
Music
I love the battle bgm, that's all, haha.

One thing about this game, Really Cute! But the battle is not something you could get over so easily at first. This game makes your hand and mind active with it's ATB system.
But those battles can be prepared thanks to it's crafting system. It lets you choosing different ingredients just for one potion. It's my first time having a hard time choosing what's best for my potion lol. It's quite unique for a crafting system.
For the story, one thing I notice is about the cat lol. Everything starts with that troublesome cat lmfao.
Overall, it's a good game. Kudos to the developer.

When I tried to play this game, I immediately remembered one of my favorite games in the PS one era, Legend of Legaia, but with the addition of an active time bar that requires hand speed and agility in every fight. At first, I thought it was challenging and impossible for me to finish, but I got used to it after a few battles.
The most exciting part, in my opinion, is the crafting item. The elemental system allows you to focus on farming crystal and loot monsters and basic materials that are your primary goals, such as silk or wood. If you manage to get wood with a high elemental level, you are most likely to make weapons with complete and powerful skill abilities. It will make it easier for you to focus on what part you will struggle with. In my playthrough case, I tried to make the primary wood for Rucifar's weapon with the best elemental value; if possible, the average level was 20. After getting the weapon then I continued the main quest to the next chapters. Overall this is the exciting part of this game. Trust me; it gives you a lot of fun.
I'm pretty happy; this is a pretty good game when I play it. Hopefully, the developer next project in the future will be better and get enough attention from fans of PC games.

I saw your post on Facebook and decided to give it a try.
In my honest opinion, this one is one of the most underrated RPG Maker games around on Steam.
The battle is cool; I am still learning to do a better parry or guard tough, the art is cute, but it can be better.
I love the visual novel style when it comes to dialogue too
I follow your page, and it looks like you are now working on the sequel of this game
Your next project must be better than this one
Here are my greetings as we are the same fellow RPG maker developer
I hope you are doing well.

Another RPG Maker Games! I Love RPG Maker Games.
First of all I really love how the developer customize almost every aspect of the game, making it very different than most RPG Maker Games out there.
Art wise is "Okay" for me, not really my taste, I am into more mature Anime Style rather than Loli/Cute anime style like this, but everyone has their own taste I guess. The Map is great, really love the mapping, the battle background is also really nice.
the choice of music is also good, I really enjoy some of the in game tracks.
The game story, Gameplay is good, nothing to really criticize about that, I like the alchemy mechanic and mining mechanic. The battle not really my taste due to shitty keyboard layout this game forces us. Why not just use default battle control like any RPG Maker game, where you use arrow button to select stuff and enter or esc to select or escape.
Seriously My only problem is on the control mechanic, steam often f*** up controller and often not detecting controller forced many of us plays it with keyboard. and guess what this game lack about? A DECENT KEYBOARD LAYOUT.
I am still gonna give this game positive due to actually decent mechanic and story line but the keyboard control maakes me on the fence for giving it negative ones.
So conclusion: Make sure your controller is supported by the new Steam API (seriously steam, in past almost every usb controller just works, now only certain one, why?) then if you believe your controller is supported then buy it, I believe this game is designed for Gamepad (just like the splash screen said) and adding keyboard control for "better than nothing" reason.

Saw this on local RPG Maker forum and decide to give it a try.
Great game, cute graphics. very refreshing since I am kinda need for a real RPG games made using RPG maker but not a hentie ones like lots of other rpg maker games.
Please bring back real RPG Games made with RPG maker not just cashgrab selling boobs like other RPG maker games. This is a great starting point, I really hope in future many developer starting develop real RPG games made with RPG Maker, as a RPG maker user myself, I'd like to play this kind of game for inspiration and refreshsing.

I played this game on stream. I'm honestly surprised that the game doesn't have any negative reviews because there is actually a lot wrong with this game.
The game begins with a poor impression by having the menu music and sound effects very, very low in the mix. RPG Maker devs often worry about the mix due to the engine being considered "loud", and so I wonder if the developer has overcompensated for this stigma. However, result is that after you start a new game, a pre-rendered video is played and the volume is jacked way up. During the movie another huge flaw for an RPG game will begin to become apparent - we'll come back to this.
Once the pre-rendered video ends, the volume mixing is returned to being quiet...some times. Various sound effects are still at full volume while everything else is quiet. It's one of the worst audio mixes I have heard in a game and it baffles me how this made it past a play test.
Now, in the intro a big problem begins to become even more apparent - especially for an RPG: the dialogue. I assume the original developer is a non-native English speaker due to numerous typos and strange grammar. It is nearly consistent throughout the entire game, rarely going more than 2 message boxes without seeing a typo or grammatical issue.
The maps themselves are beautiful, but really static. Everything looks lifeless due to no animation, not even RPG Maker's typical 3 frame animated water.
The strange decisions continue into the game play itself.
Firstly, the controls are absolutely absurd. It's as if the developer chose random keys on the keyboard. Yes, the developer provides a warning at the start of the game that a controller is recommended, but 1: This isn't a game where that makes sense. Choosing sensible keys for actions could have easily been done, but wasn't. 2: The store page lists the game as partial controller support, which really more implies that keyboard is recommended.
You use WASD to move, but also sometimes you use J to activate things, sometimes space. Sometimes you use U or O. Sometimes you can use arrow keys, and sometimes you can't. It's crazy how poorly mapped the controls are and it's made all the worse due to the player being unable to remap the keybindings.
This comes ahead in combat. All combat fights are scripted (at least in the beginning, which I was never able to make it past). Enemies hit like a mack truck in the tutorial, and the first boss is so tanky it takes way too many hits to defeat him while he does nearly half my entire health bar.
While I am certain I could be the boss if I wanted to, after attempting the boss several times, I got really put off by having to walk to the boss again and re-watch the same cutscene before the boss over and over again. What an archaic design choice. So, rather than go through the walk and cut scene again, I just gave up. Again, it baffles me how this game has no negative reviews. I wonder if anyone has actually beaten the game.
