Galaxy Kart VR Reviews

Got this on sale cuz it looks very fun and promising. Its a unique concept for VR and I love it. But I played one game and had to quit because of the bugs in steering etc. (playing with valve index). I red some reviews about bugs in the PC version. So i tried again today after the minor bugfix patch. On my first attempt I had no sound => restart. Second I tried to start a single player game. The game crashed while starting with UE error. Third attempt the same thing. A pitty but I am going to refund. I´d buy again for full price when bugs are fixed for valve index and the game does not crash anymore on pc.

I played Galaxy Kart VR yesterday - had a Pico 4 connected over Virtual Desktop and it was lots of fun. The only bug I had on first try was that the floor height was not received correctly, but after restarting once, I did not encounter any other bugs. I do want to state that this could have been caused by my Pico because I was switching the guardian in-between. It looks like the game is still a little bit in its early shoes and there is lots of potential improvements, but with improvements I do mean improvements - it is already a really fun and nice experience! I think there is potential for a dedicated intro showing the game mechanics instead of just starting at the lobby and clicking yourself through. Nonetheless, once the controls are clear, it is quite intuitive and the gameplay is very smooth. I especially liked the throwing of the additional items as it is not really difficult to aim. Overall, definitely recommending this title and as well hoping that this game will be further developed!
