Very nice game, its a mix between Astro ports other games, STEEL STRIDER and GIGANTIC ARMY.
It shares the movement of Gigantic army with Level saving and a limited selection of weapons like in Steel Strider.
Its very fun. The movement may be weird at first, but I set it up to play on my controller with nearly Identical controls to Gigantic army, and with some getting used to you'll be sliding around and slinging bullets wherever. The new guns are good, story is fine, and the levels are pretty good too.
It doesnt do anything new, its just a retro style mech sidescroller like the other two games but mashed together, but its still good.
