More of a mini-game than a full game, but it was interesting, challenging, and clever. $0.75 well spent!

I'll give it the thumbs up, just because the game concept is innovative. And the radio chatter report was super interesting. Nontheless I have a lot of hangups about this game.
PROS:
- The voice acting is surprisingly excellent! I was initially convinced the radio show playing in the background was something just stolen straight from NPR.
- The atmosphere build up is excellent, with good attention put into some of the creepy audio ambiances
- Interesting story, albeit a very weird premise
- The concept is legit in the realm of cosmic-terror, especially as the radio show goes into details about
how we are all basically hallucinating and agreeing on a common hallucination as reality
.
CONS:
- Biggest con of all, is the horror payoff is jumpscare
generic screaming spooky-face popping into screen. It cheapens all of the buildup and atmosphere, and I just sort of roll my eyes at this thing now instead of being scared by it.
- The visual illusions bars are a cool concept. Their execution is eh..unpolished.. but mainly they always come along with a VERY VERY LOUD headsplitting tone that I had to keep hitting mute on in order to not wake up the entire neighborhood. Even if you disable the Illusions this tone still plays, and its disabling is not handled gracefully either because it just shoves the camera at the ground instead of showing the illusion.
- I really wish I could play this with a game controller, because after 30 minutes of constant mouse moving my arm was killlllling me, and forced me ultimately to quit.
Overall, if you're also the type of person who scours Itch.io for weird short horror games, because that's where they tend to innovate, and you stumbled upon this on Steam I say give it a try.

This game has a very interesting premise and puts a new spin on spot the difference horror where every time you turn away the environment shifts and changes. On more than one occasion I got caught out by the entire room being swapped round.
The podcasts playing in the background is a nice touch and can actually make it harder to focus on the environment if you are engaging the auditory sensory aspects of your brain whilst also trying to form a memory of the room you are in.
The jump scares if not noticed enough of the changes/click things that haven't changed is a little cheap and could probably have been replaced with something else that is more related to the game play experience. The recurring green and red lines left me a touch confused as to what was meant to be happening. Left down to my own interpretation I would say it was our memory becoming unstable. The ending was also definitely felt rushed with no conclusion to the story.
Overall a very enjoyable game that I would suggest people try out.

Amazing memory and awareness game, love the concept and horror aspect. I would love to see more of this type of game maybe in a longer/more difficult format maybe even while doing other tasks within a single room or small map.

Short but sweet. Definitely a good game of the observation genre and for the price it's done well. If you're able to concentrate enough you will hear the underlying story or rather more story context through the radio.
Not reccomended for people with vision problems.

The concept of this game is fun, but it is getting frustrating and boring pretty quickly.
If you fail a level, you have to start from the beginning of it. Sitting through the entire dialouge, you already heard. Gets pretty old on the third or fourth try on a level.
Also, I really can't see why this should be called a horror game, or even scary.
It's got a "jumpscare" when you fail a level, that's always the same animation.
It has some potentially creepy surroundings, but nothing is happening.
The optical illusion this game will trigger, is the only fun part in the end. It's all about the McCollough Effect.

This game will scare the **** out of you, but at least you will remember some really profound questions and interesting facts about memory reliability that constitutes reality vs. illusion distinction.

This game is AMAZING! It'll have most at the edge of their seat, heart racing and very concentrated. A must grab for any psychological horror. There is text in between levels to move the story along, but it does have a blur effect that can be a bit straining on the eyes, BUT, it can be turned off!!! NO WORRIES ON THAT!
Let's break it down
The game follows a young boy in a coma trying to wake up while reconstructing different scenarios. I won't spoil much, but different events and weave the narrative along nicely as things get more intense. A very well crafted narrative! I like it a lot, it's simple and has a bit of spice in there to have an awesome story. I will say though (KINDA Spoiler I guess) the ending is JUST a little empty and I would've liked to see more.
The Level design and overall changes are insanely cool and interesting from being obvious like the change in a poster, to downright terrifyingly realistic dead bodies, and to the ROOMS FLIPPING FLIPPING. Awesome stuff.
I love this game a lot and it has some cool background dialogue and facts about memory, it's very cool and is like a podcast of memory and how it affects our daily lives and how it affects others during different surgeries and such! It has real background info and you can find it in the credits and when I say it is interesting, IT REALLY IS! The only gripe is that later in the level you'll tone it out because you'll be focused with what's around you which is a bummer. I wish there was someway to listen to it separately because it truly is very cool. There are also police reports that document the events of the narrative and drive it forward, very creepy and cool stuff!
The scariness gets ever more intense by the level, from a classroom to morgue, you'll be left chilled (and with some changes ;) ) The first time was scared, I jumped in my seat and was ready to go again! Very cool scare if you mess up. The beat gets faster and louder as more things change or you get things wrong until you die, very suspenseful and done VERY well.
I LOVE this game a lot, and anyone skeptical on getting it SHOULD get it as it's worth it! I wish it WAS longer, but it is very fun and challenging enough to leave you with about 2 hours of play time. Very fun memory game!
Overall - 8.9/10
-Very good scariness
-Dialogue done AMAZINGLY
-Decent Story
-AWESOME and well constructed changes
-Good deal for what you get!
-Stone-faced-gamers MAY not find the scariness to make em jump
-Wish the audio could be heard again separately
-Wish it was longer
More PROS than CONS and most CONS are not applicable to all! This game is underrated as HECK and to anyone looking for ~2 Hours of memory horror fun, this is the game for you
AMAZING!
-TLDR: A young boy in a coma is trying to wake up through memories, fun gameplay with cool and trippy challenging changes and scares enough. ~2 hours of playtime to finish for $5.99 is goodly fair! 8.9/10
This game is awesome and I recommend it a TON! Thanks for reading!
Now... WAKE UP!

Overall, I've got good things to say about this game. It's definitely a challenge, forcing you to really pay attention to your surroundings, and there's increasing dread as the music swells, causing you to push through and hurry to find set pieces that have changed. The difficulty definitely gets upped around Level 3 which took me quite a few attempts, but overall enjoyable. As for the downside, it does get a little tedious, with each level just being a point-and-click through one setting, so it's not really so much a game I felt I could binge, but was good enough to keep me coming back for the next level.
I appreciated the interviews which had interesting conversations about the brain/memory processes, and I like how the main story slowly ties in to everything you're doing. Overall, I would give this a thumbs up, and definitely say it's worth the five dollars for purchase. Great job, Devs!
