Fun and Relaxing Game

Good video game.

i mean i really big fan of harvest moon (current named story of seasons) series and this one have many good side, i love the maker things and various crops and recipe and outfit and many things, i not quite not recoommend it but about the downside -festivals are bland, not fun at all :( , no more cozy feeling -the graphics/art style :( it dont look natural(character look like plastic) and no profile picture when talking like older series -i think i want helper somewhat like harvest sprite too it miss cozy vibe the older one have

This is a glorified mobile game for £35 I expect do much better. Absolute rip off tbh

SV except 3-d and with nice tweaks that make sense and I wish were in SV like a special bag for your tools, and requests from the town to spruce it up rather than just doing that for the fun or boredom of it. Liking this game a lot and I only bought it today (usually takes me a week to play a new game)

I have played (depending how you count it) three Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons games: Another Wonderful Life (original), A Wonderful Life (Remake) and Animal Parade. I loved all of them, and Pioneers of Olive Town is right up there with the others as one of my favorite games! There is SO....MUCH....TO....DO!!! At first it does seem overwhelming, since I'm not used to deciding where my farm plots go, and the other customization. But stick with it - it's worth it! A lot of people hate on the makers, but I honestly find them fun. Most of them are optional (except for doing a few story quests, but they can be moved or put away if you don't want to use them). I always have 2-3 different projects going on at one time. Cooking is my favorite!! I love the cooking system, there are a ton of different fun recipes and (optional) quests to do cooking challenges - they are so fun to do! The ingredients are interesting, each food has a flavor and warmth profile, and even eating for energy is unique (makes you think ahead). The two things I would change is: The time in this game - it goes WAAAYYYYY too fast, and the time still runs even inside buildings. With so much I want to do, I always feel like I'm in a huge rush. I wish I could slow down the time, so I can run my farm in a more relaxed way. Also, the self-imposed bedtime (aka fainting) combined with the really fast time, can be extremely frustrating. I haven't gotten married yet, but I like the interactions with the townspeople/bachelors/bachelorettes. They seem about the same as the other games I've played - interact more, and you get more story and cutscenes from them, but eventually all of the townspeople will repeat phrases. I've come to expect that in HV/SOS style games. Crops and animal care are pretty similar, a few differences, but you can have Buffalo! and Alpaca! and Rabbits! If you start this game expecting it to be exactly like the other SOS games I mentioned, it is different, and will seem a little odd at first. But it is so much fun to play!

Cute and fun with many things to do. Probably will be marrying my first npc ever next week...hahaha

After I got the bucket on Spring day 12, it does a weird glitch and I can't load. Time passes but I'm just in a black screen with my body constantly falling. The fact that this is a common glitch that they apparently never fixed just boggles my mind. Absolute BS. I've uninstalled my dlc and tried everything they said would "fix" the issues. My drivers are up to date. Everything. They just suck for leaving a game so glitchy. I adored playing the game when things you know, actually loaded.

Made me go back to playing story of seasons, It has FoMT feels into it and I like it. The game has Linh and Linh is a superior being.
