This game leaves a lot to be desired after the first two games, it's not bad necessarily but quite underwhelming, particularly for the price asked for on release considering what lies within 6 hour experience. I write this review now that the first of two promised level DLCs have released and I can say it's looking good so far, the first DLC level has a nice length to it for just the one level and it ended around the time I was hoping it would. I liked what happened in it, I like the new monster, I love the new character, I hope she is okay. I eagerly await the next DLC which is nice to say as I was not excited for the first DLC until I had played it.

At its core its still an ok game, but it misses almost everything that made the first 2 games in the series so unique and special. The price doesn't help in the slightest as well, just a major disappointment.

The game has nothing to do with the original Little Nightmares series, looks terrible and at the same time very unoptimized somehow. It has lots of game breaking bugs that prevent you from advancing through (which are still not fixed almost a year after release), and the only way to progress is to start from the very beginning. Also it is very short and expensive, honestly, I wouldn't play it even for free if I knew it was that bad. If anything, they should pay you for playing this garbage cash grab "game". Shame on you, Supermassive Games.

I played this co-op and right after Reanimal. This game was more ok, than good - i think. Dont get me wrong it is a good game, but compared to the 1st and 2nd one - its ok. The gameplay is mostly the same like the first 2 games, the only difference is the combat - yes we have actual combat this time. The horror element is there, but something is missing.

It's a good game I guess, but it has a lot of glitches, the characters become invisible after you go through the first mirror to chapter 2, your bot partner is dumb and gets stuck in the vents or doesn't grab the boards that requires both characters to pull, and in the final chapter, before the final boss fight, the characters freeze in the mirror animation, you can jump in the frozen animation but you can't move out of it, then the boss shows up, destroys the mirror and then freezes in animation as well, it's a fun game sure but it's also broken

I like this game, probably more than your average reviewer. Yeah, it's not as good as 1 or 2, but I still like the story and monsters. The atmosphere is still creepy. It mostly loses points for me 'cause the AI partner is sometimes bugged.

So far me and my brother have been enjoying this game even if the story for this entry doesn't make a whole lot of sense it's fun. I've been waiting for this game for a LONG time and It hasn't disappointed yet but it hasn't blown me away either so I might update my review once I beat it but so far so good.

I really thought the base game was pretty underwhelming at first. And while they haven't unfortunately done anything to help it out too much, I appreciate how they at least attempted to tie up some lose ends, like where the story ends off with the ending to the first DLC. The DLC is so much better than base game, so I'd recommend to play it.

I was so excited for this game. I had even preordered it! I tried to play this in Oct when it released and it was very buggy and glitchy. Doors would not appear, it would just be an empty space but when you tried to walk through it was blocked by the invisible door. The mirror always caused either the camera to go outside the world or character models would not show up. These require either a checkpoint restart or restarting the game. I played the game for a few hrs but then set it down and waited till today to try it again. I can say with confidence they have not done any sort of bug fixes. I experienced the SAME BUGS AND GLITCHES! This was on a brand new save too! I was prepared to just hunker down and push through since it's such a short game. Jokes. On. Me. I experienced a game breaking bug where I died and the game took me back a checkpoint previous to the one it should have. At this certain checkpoint there was an object that you shot down to distract an enemy. This object was no longer here because I had already done it!!! I don't know why the game brought me back to this checkpoint but I tried all of the usually tricks of resetting things and even verified the game files but no dice. I could not progress because of this. Even if this game didn't have of these bugs/glitch's it's still mediocre at best to what LN 1 & 2 were. If you've played the previous games the environment and puzzles are second nature to you. I didn't even have to think about where I was going or what I was suppose to be doing. There was no creativity to this game and it's such a shame. Also why are they releasing DLC when the base game is still this broken?!??!
