I bought it by taking advantage of the sale period. However, when I install the game and try to enter my name and password, the screen goes black. I hear only music. The game is unplayable due to a bug. I'm using a PC with Mac OS Ventura.

Dont waste your time with this trash, pressing the C key will take away game ui. the leveling system feels like a mobile game grind. at first the combat is cute but after the starting area you are over it. some enemies look well designed and the loot system/grind is the best part of game. but to finish the game its about 15 hours of grind I myself could not do it because my account has been locked in the last area. I wont be supporting sock pop has heavily after this.

An MMO in a SokPop universe could be something special and that is coming from someone who wasted over $100 on their half-baked games, but instead, I just had the most uneventful 7 hours of my life. I probably could enjoy the game if it had at least a few more basic features beyond just trading hits and increasing flat stats, with so many characters in the SokPop catalogue, you would think some of them could be made into quest givers and enemies. The only cool thing about the gameplay is that loot table is based on what the enemy is wearing, so if they have a weapon in hand or an armour, they can drop it as loot. Beyond the lack of RPG features like stores and quests, the game has some technical and design problem, such as not being able to press letter C, additionally, the enemies can get stuck on terrain making them immortal. Yes, you can indeed play this game with other people, granted it does not make the experience better because there is no synergy or benefit in playing together aside from sharing items. In over 7 hours I briefly saw 2 other players and I don't think they were into it, so yea, it was a very lonely MMO experience. For the amount of content that it has, it takes way too long to grind enough stats in order to defeat the boss. You can almost see the end of the world from the spawn point, and it will take about 7 hours of grinding to finish the game, despite taking 25 seconds to go from one end to another. I was hoping there would be something funny at the end, sometimes SokPop games have those surprising moments that make the journey worth it, but it never happened, it was dull and very anticlimactic.
Pros:
+ I like that loot table is mostly based on visible equipment + the gear does show on the character
Feedback:
Needed more basic features - I think if you had a few stores and side quests with special items the entire experience would be more wholesome, otherwise it's just 7 hours of trading hits. I really wish you would use some of the characters from other games as quests givers or enemies, you have so many games that fans remember. The stats on items should have been a bit more diverse, they really don't add anything interesting to the gameplay. Also, why are the locations so uninspired, I know you can do verticality with that art style, you have done it before. Really slow drop rate/progression - I literally beat the final boss before I got the pitchfork which took me like 3 hours to grind. What is the point of the gear if I can finish a game with no replay value faster than I can get that loot. Why does it take so damn long to drop some of the items? Also, to transition from killing easy enemies to killing hard enemies you need to grind easy enemies for several hours. Bugs - can't type C without consequences. Enemies can become immortal if they get stuck on something. Oh and ... Where are the achievements? Overall Thoughts: 4/10 I understand that SokPop does this limited development gimmick, I own most of their games and honestly, I don't think the simplicity is the problem. I suffered playing through this game for 7+ hours waiting for something interesting to happen, and it just never came. Sokpop, you guys have really lowered the bar recently, you start to be known less for creativity and more for quantity over quality. And if you don't have time to make proper mechanics, add something funny, use your character catalogue to your advantage, give me something to enjoy about this game. As much as I tried to be optimistic about this experience, it was just really generic grind with nothing exciting to show for it.
