Endless firepower? More like endless fun! I like shooting the robots and then they go BOOM BOOM BOOM. Guns are fun to. Walrusking and Diomonder did some solid work on this game and it shows. This is a must buy for all gamers.

I like it. Smooth controls, good weapon handling. Needs more content and variation in environments but I have no regrets buying this in early access.

You Like Borderlands? You Like Rouge-likes? You like Fighting Tooth and Nail and feeling accomplished?
7/10 game.
Rough at points, but good otherwise
Pros:
Endless Replay ability due to Random Generation
Good-Ish movment (Feels like Gmod Bhopping instead of Ultrakill Sliding)
Cool Guns with unique abilities
WARNING: DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THAT SHOOTS MINES, IT WILL STOP WORKING RANDOMLY'
Cons:
Enemy Explosives are a little BS, most notable on the bosses hitting you through walls
You can get fucked by luck
The Character Unlocks are a little rough.

the graphics clip through the text, you cant see your weapon details, half the menu items dont even work (advanced weapon stats), and there isnt even a map. this is not complete, and should not cost money
there are so many things about this game that need to be fixed before I could at all reccomend it. spend your money elsewhere. also, my spelling effort here is equal to the dev effort put into the game

You know how borderlands is, boiled down, looting boxes for ammo and weapons/shields and basically picking up the guns that have more green arrows than you current one? It's that, but with glitches that can sometimes break weapons and generally weird design choices like being able to escape the map and fall out of the game space.
Don't have high expectations and you will have fun for a few hours. But in this current state, with the devs intending to make a sequel, with bugs that annoy and a game that gets stale pretty fast, wouldn't recommend buying it. I'll probably play it but I don't see myself putting more than 50 hours into it within a year.

For a game that requires little to no space, it is pretty good. It obviously needs some tweaks and bug fixes but it is a pretty good game if you wanna progress fairly well and kill some time. My opinion is that it should be kind of hard to hate a game that is listed as "early access" because that should tell you there will be some type of issue/issues. It is totally understandable if the game is coming from a high level company that puts out games for a living *cough *cough BF 2042 *cough *cough....excuse me, but for group of devs putting together their first game; you have to hand it to them they did pretty good. The game runs smoothly and it isn't boring. Let them work out the kinks and continue read up on the developing news for the game and then try it out again if you didn't like it. All it takes is time and some dedication for it to become something beautiful, making a game is a lot more complicated than some would think so cut them some slack.

I was searching quite a while for a game like this.
After playing Borderlands 2 for over 500 hours and Borderlands 3 for over 80 hours, I was searching for another looter shooter which scratches that itch.
This game is a pure roguelike, which means you loose everything if you die in a run, so there is always more loot to find in your next run. You take nothing with you for your next try.
The weapons are randomized in its stats, traits, aswell their looks, which makes finding and trying them satisfying.
The maps itself are really repetitive, after my second run I already knew all the individual rooms from the first stage.
This did not matter to me, because I wanted to find more guns and more loot :)
If you look at the animations and the graphics you can see that this is an indie shooter but a well done one.
The developers are active and are continuing updating the game.
I'm having fun with this game and will keep an eye on the future updates.

Has solid foundations, but desperately needs variety - both of levels and enemies. Guns seem varied at first, but soon enough you get there are like four types with minimal quirks. Guns need variety the same as the rest(or more)! Make them shoot fireballs, bounce off walls, leap forward, make them rain lightning or project barriers. Utilise right-click for something more/else than scope zoom! Remember flak cannon from unreal? I know some of those may be difficult with your engine, but different bullet colour and damage is not a gun variety, sorry.
All that said, I'd still say go get it for a few hours of nice robot shooting action.
For now, good to take with a discount. Let's hope worth full price when leaving EA.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
[edit]
after playing a bit more, I've found some guns that actually shoot different. :)
there is still lots of room for improvement, but it's a bit better that I initially thought.
thoughts:
> performance of things other than "laser" does not justify their rarity
> snipers are severely underpowered. either increase ammo drop or damage
> you can increase variety of levels by slicing them in smaller pieces and/or making few exits and randomize them
> it might be just my playstyle, but I found pistols and rifles to be only viable guns. Shotguns performed well on ranges that made you unable to dodge and snipers ran out of ammo way to fast

This is a very okay-ish game at best, I know it's still very early access but I feel like the bosses of the first zone are very broken to the point I keep dying on it. I wouldn't recommend it as of yet but maybe in the future
on the plus side, it can be very addictive but I feel like for the bosses mostly, they need fixing as I feel like they are broken ATM
I'd gladly edit this review as they update as I know it's still very Early Access but for right now I'd wait

I'm struggling a bit with Endless Firepower, because while I love the core concept, I do feel that if you're willing to list your game on Steam, Early Access or not, it needs to be finished and polished enough for players to play and enjoy. You are making money off it, after all.
That said, this is a mixed bag. Endless Firepower is a first-person roguelite heavily inspired by Borderlands, all the way down to the randomized weapon and shield generation and item crates/boxes strewn throughout the levels. Conceptually, this could be great - take the most addictive parts of Borderlands and boil them down into a concise roguelite. However, it has a number of pitfalls preventing it from truly being worth your time at this juncture:
- Levels are repetitive and uninspired - you'll be looking at a lot of the same, room after room
- Enemies are braindead and emphasize dead-eye player tracking, making avoiding and killing them both feel like chores
- Hitboxes are nonsense - sniper rifles are borderline useless as a result
- Poor implementation of boomer shooter movement - why do I need to hold shift to run? Why is walking even an option?
- Lackluster roguelite mechanics - abilities are poorly explained, perks seem largely worthless, and no progression is preserved across runs
- Item generation is random to the point of total dilution - you're barraged by guns and shields which seem to largely have similar stats, only occasionally being blessed with a truly unique item
- FPS mechanics require refinement - shotgun shells travel hilariously slow, sniper zoom doesn't scale your mouse look speed/sensitivity, etc.
And these aren't to say anything of the actual technical issues and bugs present - it's Early Access, so I'll toss the devs a bone there.
There's a great concept here, and the presentation is really slick. Unfortunately, myriad mechanics just don't work well right now, leading to an underwhelming experience that's definitely not worth the asking price.
I'll happily revisit this review as the game progresses. Hopefully the devs whip all this into shape.
