Addiictive and not what I expected! Would recommend

Good simple crossword

Can you please help me with your game? Your bug doesn't allow me to continue. Please help.

This game has been a fun few hours today. I'll probably keep playing it as well. There were a few times it didn't accept words that are valid, and also had a few that I questioned the validity of. Some of the extra games are a little confusing, like the one where you drop a letter into the puzzle square and it causes letters to disappear with it and sometimes sets off bombs. There is no tutorial for it, and I'm never quite sure what will happen when I place a letter on there. Other than that, it's a fun little game and I'm glad I got it.

It's a great game for people who like scrabble, it has good characters and fun stories. As long as you're aware it's a scrabble type game as apposed to a crossword game you'll enjoy it and have fun.

As the journalist in the game, you are going around the town to investigate 30 different crime cases. It seems there is only one journalist in the town, and the other one is just busy criticising your work. The entire game has the same characters that commit multiple crimes, but only one journalist can solve the cases and is so powerful that he or she can even arrange police protection for some witnesses. Criminals will go to jail, but they will commit another crime after being released and later related to other cases or commit another crime. I felt terrible for the secretary who keeps losing her job after talking to me. Although it is called crosswords, the puzzles are more like Scrabble, which doesn’t require you to build words related to the cases. You need to make longer words or use the tile with 2x to earn more points to get a star. The star is to use to unlock the next stage, such as talking to another person involved in the case. You only have a certain number of turns and sometimes, only limited of time to get as many points as you can. You don’t have to get all stars to unlock the next stage in the case as long as you have at least one star. However, you need to have the required number of stars to unlock the next case or level. Sometimes, you might get stuck in the case without any new stages available to proceed. Then, you have to exit the case screen and return to the same case, and the next stage will be available now. There is nothing spectacular that I can think of about this game. The entire game is based on Scrabble, and you just build words to move forward to the next stage. If you like word puzzles or Scrabble and investigations, you will enjoy playing 30 levels by just doing that. The cases are interesting, but it can be boring for some people as the methods are repetitive throughout the entire game. Towards the last five to ten cases, I just skip through the dialogues because I really want to finish the game faster.

The game has a really nice idea to combine word puzzle with investigation, ... But currently there are some downsides, that hopefully will be fixed in the future. Pros: 1. Nice overall idea 2. Relaxing music Cons: 1. The translation to german is not good, especially with the plural endings. 2. Even the english version accepts words, that does not exist (e.g. "saba") and vice versa. 3. The tutorial is to small and do not explain every rule (e.g. you can lay 4 letters as a square and get points) I will review the game again, sometime in the future, but as for now, I cannot recommend it.
