Experienced on the Oculus Quest 2
You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/1IcBr07lz40 This is a pretty cool audio music visualizer for VR and Non-VR. WARNING: Only KBM is currently supported, so you cannot use motion controllers. In fact, there is no input during the VR experience. It comes with 5 pre-made scenes with included music tracks. However, the real treat for this app is the editor. Unfortunately, the editor only works in non-VR. The editor is a little on the clunky side, but it is a robust, powerful tool that is easy to use, but will take time to master. I was able to make an experience using one of my mp3s that was half-way decent on my second attempt. App is running on the Unity Engine. On my RTX 3080, I was getting 90 fps for the most part, but it definitely had some frame rate drops here and there. I did not experience any serious issues or bugs. I do recommend this app, but more for people who are interested in tinkering / creating their own audio/visual experiences using the editor. The 5 included experiences are nice though, but they probably aren't enough to justify the price. Some people have complained about the 3D, and it's true it's like a sphere with 3D layers effect. However, I enjoyed them and I especially enjoyed tinkering with the editor. The editor makes this a unique experience for VR. I'm rather disappointed. It is not a real-time visualizer, but rather only works on pre-programmed scenes alongside specific songs. The built-in ones didn't impress me. Super promising concept, but insufficient execution.

What a fun tool to create your own audio visual journeys or simply your custom 3d virtual reality clips. Your choice of scenes music. Love the versatility of the app to create backgrounds to your favorite tunes. I can see dj producers taking us to the next level...3d Virtual clips or backgrounds to their Twitch jam sessions. Also Loved the original tracks created for the demo visualization provided along to give an insight to the endless possibilities. Super creative & engaging well suited to the name. Highly Recommend.

Super underrated kaleidoscope visualizer software with both VR and flatscreen support, as well as the ability to make your own scenes. Big recommendation from me 👍

Mindworks. I really like it. It's very good. It's just a bit different than what I'd normally expect from a music visualizer. There are five visualizers, each with their own accompanying song. It appears that instead of just reacting to the music, the visuals go through a bit of a routine, that progresses during the song. So it's really like 5 music visualizer videos, that each have their own song. There are two effects that I really like in the visuals. Sometimes the colors will have a bright gleam that shines off of them, and then there's this translucent, glassy effect, that I really like. Normally with a music visualizer, I expect to be able to use my own music, and set parameters for how often the visuals change, their level of responsiveness and such. I like what's here, and wouldn't change it, but with the addition of those other features, it would be on the next level. I see it said something about adding other songs and possibly the ability to use your own music. I hope it all comes to fruition, but I'm glad I bought it, just as it is, as well. One other observation. I wish you could control everything from within VR. It all has to be done from the desktop. Not difficult, because Steam VR easily allows you to access your desktop, but I'd like it a lot better, if I didn't always have to go to the desktop to start the videos.

It's a nice visualizer and a decent experience in VR, but I was hoping for more of an immersive stereoscopic 3D experience. As it stands, in VR, the visuals are layered 2D animations in a sphere around you. More "depth" and this would be absolutely killer! Still recommending because it is a good experience, but it is just shy of being great. 3D implementation would require a huge change to the base software unfortunately so I don't expect it, but it would make it so much better.
