My Experience
I picked this up recently on sale when a friend came over and we were looking for something to play in local co-op. We bounced off of it relatively quickly, for a couple of reasons:
[olist]
[*] It was somewhat easy to get lost - I would've appreciated the ability to find maps of the various areas.
[*] We kept paying money to open these chests in the game. The chests only had money in them, and it was actually less money than we'd spent to open them.
[*] My co-op partner was invincible, ruining any sense of challenge that the game had for us. Although I later found this mentioned in some user reviews, it would be a good idea for developer lightUP to mention it in the "About" section as well.
[/olist]
We did find the graphical style charming, but it wasn't enough to hold our interest, and I refunded the game shortly thereafter.
