I was say this game is in an early stage where you're investing with hope for improvement. If you're young and want something playable and fun as you know disc golf, stick with Disc Golf Valley (DGV) for now.
For me the physics needs a lot of work. If I throw a disc into a cliff it should at least hit and slide down or roll, not stick to the side of it. Also the first midrange they they start you with claims 4/6/-1/1.. if you throw it on an anhyzer it will flex out like an overstable disc. It currently lacks a lot of true flight qualities that DGV has obtained over a few years of work.
I love that they want to achieve a solid multiplayer which is the one thing DGV (vr version) currently lacks and for that reason I'm hopeful that over time these features will improve.
My recommendation would be for the developers start or have some sort of discord or facebook group and organize some sort of league night similar in the way that Hops&Hyzer has been done through DGV. Would be a good start to develop a community and make up for the other issues the game currently has making the investment more enticing for others to get on board.

Great vr disc golf game, physics are pretty realistic for the most part. Did notice the disc doesn't really slide or skip off the ground or ricochet off trees much. Takes some time to get used to throwing without a physical disc in hand but I feel that the throwing physics are solid, not perfect but that is too be expected when compared to IRL disc golf.

First of all, let me say that I haven't ever played disc golf in real life. So I cannot tell you if physics is matching exactly the real world experience or if it feel "like the real thing".
What I can say, however, that it is a nice and fun game that I am enjoying a lot. There is a helpful short tutorial for disc golf dummies like me and then you go and try your best on the first course. More courses become available once you finish the first one.
Graphics is certainly not exceptional but nice enough that you feel like being outside on a disc golf track. I am a graphics enthusiast and only kind of happy with the best of the best. So I'd love to have more detailed and more realistic graphics but at the same time it is certainly good enough that it serves the purpose and you feel fine on the track.
After a steep learning curve I slowly start to understand a bit what matters when throwing that disc and what influences the distance and flight behavior. Physics behavior seems to be consistent to me, i.e. when the shot is bad then I feel also that it was my fault and when I did the basics right, then the disc seems to consistently do what I would expect it to do from what I learned so far. So I have the motivation to play more, get better and to enjoy the tracks.
I have a lot of fun with this game so far and can absolutely recommend it. It offers an enjoyable performance at a reasonable price and when you like VR sports games like golf, tennis, table tennis, etc. then you're probably also going to enjoy this one.

I have given it a fair shot, and maybe will even continue trying to play a bit in the future, but for now it just doesn't really feel like a great vr disk golf game. If you are a left handed player, just forget it. The flight physics are totally against the left handed throw, and nearly all the holes dogleg to the left, and/or have big trees to the left. As a lefty disc golfer, i have gotten used to arcing the disc high on the throw to get it to go far to the left, but with this game, inevitably the disc corrects, levels out and grounds to the right, as it would for a right handed throw.... they need to work on their physics.
The scenes are ok, but could be better, with a little wind blowing some leaves around, or a wildlife here are there. The hole setup, besides the above mentioned right handed-ness, is unimaginative, and lack the vistas that would make a truely great experience, and make me "feel" the course. There are some spectacle holes that feel good to look down the hill from.

Hi,
I have been playing this with a friend for many hours now. Since the early beta version, which had quite a few bugs, nowadays this is running stable and it brings quite fun to play this with friends. This has become one of my favourite multiplayer games for VR!

Got the game on sale, definitely worth it on sale. The game is dated and the physics aren't polished and may be lacking comparatively. However, just like most VR games, you have to overlook some negative trade offs for what can be a very fun experience. The player base is very small, but there are people that you can find to play with. 5/10 game score from me, but for bringing us a multiplayer disc golf in VR; 8/10.

Fantastic game to play with friends! Only issue I have is when in Multiplayer, I sometimes can't see the disk my friend is throwing, and we have yet to finnish a game, because always when the last throw goes into the basket, the game just doesn't end.
If you can live with the bugs, I can recommend the game! And I assume these will be fixed in future updates.

This is an excellent Disc Golf experience. My friends and I play IRL about once a week, and while it takes some adjustment to throwing weightless VR discs; the physics of this game are consistent enough that you can apply your real-life disc golf skills into the game with just a bit of practice. The environments look great, and the terrain of the courses feel diverse and realistic. I was able to maintain a smooth wireless experience on my Oculus Quest (1) over Virtual Desktop on High settings. The visuals aren't photo-realistic, but they are good enough I feel that I'm able to be immersed in the experience.
There is a sense of progression in the game with earning "chains"/currency for how well you do on each hole, these can be spent to unlock additional discs - each with their own flight characteristics. Each disc really does feel and fly differently just like they would in real life with respects to the Speed/Glide/Turn/Fade ratings, which are all detailed in the disc unlock screen.
For new players, I'd suggest unlocking the purple putter as soon as possible. The one you start off with is much too floaty, and I found it almost impossible to toss it in the basket without it bouncing off the top rim first and then just handing it in. Overall I feel like the putting is a bit too floaty in general, and the putters could use a physics adjustment to give them a bit more weight - especially when thrown lightly.
Great game, looking forward to more!

I so wanted to play this game. I am an avid disc golfer and it was one of the few things I could enjoy with friends until the weather got cold. It's unplayable even after the "physics update". The mechanics in no way match real disc golf. The stupid Sports Champions game that came out with Playstation Move controllers over 10 years ago was more realistic and definitely more fun. The developer has much work to do before this should even be listed as early release. It is not even beta. This is a non-functioning concept.

Eh. I was really hoping for something great here. At a $20 asking price you expect the game mechanics to be really solid, and it's just not there yet.
The putting is what is most off to me. If you release right handed backhand flat and level (or nose down even) the disc will go up by at least 2 feet and hyzer left, every time. There's a moment it snaps upwards, almost like the physics are coded to do that. It's got to be the most frustrating aspect. I'll even put anheizer on the putter to compensate for this behavior, and still it will spin out to the left really hard, like I'm putting with a 14 speed driver. Now I like me an overstable approach putter, but this thing is ridiculous. I'd even compensate for the overstability, but with it going up by two feet I have to release really low, like waist level, and practicing that bad form can't be good for the real course.
So now you know the putter is comically overstable, what about the midrange, that overstability sounds like what I would probably want for my driving disc (you start with a midrange and a putter). Well when you pull your disc right because the mechanics are a little screwy you can expect a very understable disc, comparable to a light weight prodigy F5. Trying to flick it forehand I always get an understable roller, or backhand you'll get a distinct understable fade to the right
I'm streaming to an oculus quest 2 via virtual desktop. I hope the developer takes the time to improve the physics, because there are a lot of fun game mechanics there, like there's a screen that tracks where your shot landed, and you can either walk to your throw, or teleport to it. It's just the physics is absolutely the most important aspect to someone like me who really enjoys the sport, and it's disappointing to pay 20 bucks and it to be this off.
Good luck.
