fun to play and a exciting twist to the theme park game category. it's cool and exciting to choose how you proceed with the story and what roads you take in progressing the park. However i noticed once you build a coaster or any ride in that matter and change the tune it plays during ride to a different song choice it says you dont own the ride. so make sure the song you choose for ride is not a dlc or a dlc you own..

It's good until the last mission, then if you're like me and just want to have fun building a park, it's not worth finishing.
I enjoy all the different rides - especially as you start upgrading them and they just get absolutely crazy. It's also fun to build roller coasters, but for some reason, despite being all about creativity and thinking outside of the box, it isn't really worth doing so.

Park Beyond is different. I have been a player in Theme Park Building games for many years. While Sim Theme Park is my all-time favorite, Park Beyond gives a feel for the theme park and coaster-building dynamic that made that game different from Roller Coaster Tycoon at the time. Park Beyond is as close as one may get to Sim Theme Park in the modern day. Unlike modern games of this genre (RTC 3 and Planet Coaster), Park Beyond has a different feeling.
The Good:
It is a cost-effective game with very interesting details and graphics in certain areas. It is playable in short intervals. It provides a new theme park building experience. The roller Coaster construction is pretty cool.
The Bad:
The basic toolbars look very poorly designed and are cumbersome. The atmosphere of the game always feels driven (like a pseudo-open-world RPG like Kingdom Hearts compared to a real open-world game like Skyrim). The gameplay is like a helicopter parent AI is watching you play in the campaign setting. If one were to compare it to other games in the genre, it is limited in creativity but makes up for it in a nostalgic feel. If this game were made in the 90s, it would be on par with some of the best, but in modern times, not so much.
The Ugly:
The landscapes and details are very limited. The gameplay is clunky, and the game is so bad at times that I feel bad skipping dialogue. Development likely revolved around dialogue most of the time rather than building a game that might contend with other theme park games. The RTC app has better playability.
I recommend this game because you will have an experience, and though it is bad, it is like a pug dog; it's just so ugly, but it’s cute. Park Beyond is just too bad; it is actually good. I will keep playing it and trying to work through the unfamiliar quirks. I will keep playing because I hate to like it, but I like it as a different game on its own road to nowhere. I would only buy this in the sale or if you have the money. If you are on the fence, just do it. You will hate yourself for buying this game, but you may find enjoyment in the odd monster it is. Someone's kid took time on this game, and ugly or not, it will go on my fridge right next to the better games.
