A good atmospheric indie game. I really liked switching the power of the rooms and focusing on maximum interactivity with objects. The developer actively helps with problems in discord and supports the game with patches. Looking forward to new updates.

The game has a good gameplay and a strong atmosphere that is currently overshadowed by the early access state of the game. I really enjoyed the developer's effort and creative potential in slightest details. Looking forward to get this game polished and for it to reveal all the great ideas behind the concept. Now about the criticism. User experience and Gameplay

A lack of the navigation, especially in the beginning of the game.It is easy to get lost or stuck. Limiting available mechanics in the beginning might improve a tutorial and engagement. For example, the the first core reactor, it could be better to remove an ability to eject the core to narrow a possible options field.
The mechanics and controls are just present but aren't polished. The game lacks micro mechanics like snapping to interactive items. The lazy hand effect on grabbing items causes a headache, as well as interacting with environment interfaces.
Graphics and Art

The cold labs aesthetic is fine, but all the environment looks nearly the same. The game lacks unique and catchy areas. And the rest doesn't feel like a (previously) populated environment. It's like the levels and their content were procedurally generated.
The art doesn't serve for a navigation. A light work is almost missing, and lacking of navigation points may lead to getting stuck.
Hoping to enjoy the polished gameplay on a full release.

What I liked about the game is the mysterious atmosphere. You together with your character start to investiage what have happened by reading various notes on recent events while solving different puzzles. The game doesn't provide tutorials. Therefore, it is your challenge to figure out how everyhting works. Sometimes it is very easy to miss some interactive objects by passing by them. But while looking at them you can see its brief description what hints you what to do next. I'm curious to see what will change on the release of the game.
Cold? Yes. Depth? Remains to be seen.
My impressions were good, as far as the title goes, which is about 3 hours of gameplay, there are many parts that say "available in future updates". Cold Depth has a good foundation for an exploration/terror game, there are some good things like disintegrating/printing objects, the physics of them and the interface in general. Regarding the performance I did well with a Ryzen 3 2200g, GTX1650 4GB and 16 RAM, 60 fps stable in medium and high/ultra 60 fps with some drops to 40 (not big difference between medium, high and ultra btw). For the moment it remains as a small puzzle/exploration game with good potential. Lets hope the dev keeps updating it.

I was sold by the footage and promise of insim-ness, but I'm disappointed as its very much an unfinished game. about 1/4 of the areas i tried to go into and modules were unavailable and were to be installed in future updates, which got frustrating to see over and over. It felt more like a job to playtest this technical demo, but instead I was the one who paid the devs money. That's not the experience I was sold on. The atmosphere is very good, but that's about all it is. Maybe you will get caught behind a glitchy permalocked door like me and not be able to continue, or maybe an important item of yours will fall through the floor again, and not be able to continue, despite this being an "in-sim" apparently. Wait until devs make more of a game if they even do, Right now it feels like a cash grab, even on sale. if the devs want this kind of longterm support they should look into Patreon or something, not trick you into buying this.
