For one hour, you'll get what feels like an early 2000s horror flash game. Nostalgia trip for anyone who grew up on Armorgames/ Newgrounds/ Crazymonkeygames.

It's a zippy little top-down shooter that is surprisingly challenging. The graphics are decent enough, but very minimalist, but that also suits the game.
You've got two weapons (gun and mace), sparse ammo, and a variety of horrors trying to kill you. Your health is measured as sanity, and you've got three bars. Some creatures can kill you with one hit, some with multiples being necessary. The same goes for you killing them; some are one shot kills and others are tougher.
There is actually thought put into the story, there are two game modes (the main campaign/story and the survival mode called Witch Hunt), the controls are smooth and very simple (as there aren't that many actions available), and it's been glitch free.
For under $1, I suggest it if you're looking for a simple but challenging top down shooter.

A good indie game. It is not really a horror game but an action game. There is an atmosphere of suspense through sound, but the theme is action. The difficulty is well balanced, which is very rare in the indie scene. Today, I arrived in the last phase, I believe there was a short time to finish, but it is not easy. There is a good progression of the difficulty that increases gradually and peaks in the last phase, of course. My only criticism is the flashlight, which in fact is useless, just decoration. The developer has a style that can be recognized in other works and knows how to do a good level design, this is very good. And finally, the game has an originality, something also difficult to achieve today with so many titles. Congratulations.

I liked the atmosphere of the game, the sounds are quite scary and the challenge is balanced!
The story was very creative, these dark hand shadows reminded me of an anime.

That's a cool game, with a good balanced tension/release and a cool art style.
Loved those whispers and contributed quite a lot for the mood.
Well done. =D

Mixed feelings. Not at all a challenge to any gamer with minimum experience. I dont like third shooter aerial view games, so i was not supposed to be good at it. Even then, I hardly needed to use the gun and could save the ammunition for tough fights, which never happened. More skilled players should not take 46 minutes to finish the game, as had I.
It ended up being a slow paced game. I since is labyrinth themed, with no map, I ended up having to go back whenever I choose a forward path without checking the whole room first. So the game became slow.
As the slow pace went, the story became less engaging. I just wanted to find the pages and move on.
The horror element was not as expected. The monsters became less frightening since they have predictable attack patterns. You can literally fight most of them the same way, with the bat. The soundtrack was not amazing. I was tense at first, but quickly snapped out of the horror zone.
I recommend the follow alterations:
Make the light with less radio, like if the character had a lighter. Also, add a flashlight with batteries that should be found along the path.
Make the game a little faster, both for players and enemy, especially because of the labyrinth theme.
Make the monsters with different patterns of attack, like dash. Give more invisibility to the witch. Make the insects smaller and harder do see. Add a monster with ranged-damaging attack, with a honest chance to dodge. Do not allow more then one monster take the bat hit at the same time, because it makes ganging obsolete (I supposed that you added dash for a kind of tough situation escapes. But who need to escape with the bat does AOE damage?)
Make the monsters have more HP as the levels goes on.
Anyway, enjoyable for the price. I payed less then a dollar for it, I guess. Would not play again thou.

My Experience
I'm a big fan of these slower-paced and moody top-down shooters. I enjoyed the minimal, monochrome level design, and familiarizing myself with each of the game's enemies along with the number of bullets each takes before going down.
If you've got a little kiting room, you can do quite a bit of work with the mace and save bullets for the most troublesome enemies. In addition, you can sometimes get enemies caught at the entrances of the game's narrow corridors, allowing you to put a hurt on them while out of harm's way.
Unfortunately, the game did not play well with my PC. The one I am using during the holidays is a 3.3 GHz w/ 16 GB ram, coupled with a GTX 960. On two occasions, the game chugged to a standstill. I was barely able to move my character and my system became almost unresponsive. There was nothing to do but quit the game and restart it. Since the game does not save checkpoint information, I was forced to restart a level each time. The game isn't long at all, so it's not that big of a deal, but it was annoying enough to note here.
Even with the game's uninspired story, I still would've given it a recommendation if not for the significant technical issues. Perhaps developer Saulo Rosart will create other moody top-down shooters in the future that play better with my rig.

You can finish the game in one sitting, which makes sense for the price, and its quite refreshing since you won't have a super long game that takes time for new things to happen. Since the game is short, new things are happening all the time. New enemies, new situations, new notes.
I'm leaving the game really satisfied, not because I managed to have fun with a low priced game, but because it was even more fun to me than some more expensive games, haha
