Up to the usual Orfeas standard. Won't win any awards but it's well-polished (aside from freezing up randomly every few hours). RPGMaker comfort food.

I've seen some untapped potential in "The Deal". So I've been spectating Orfeas Game Studio for quite some time, waiting for my time to buy one, two or all of their games. I ended up buying this, and I so regret that. If I could choose again, I'd probably go with "The Prophecy Lies!". Will this time come? No, of course not. I'm done with Orfeas. Forevermore. The most fun I had was in the last third of the game. There was a passage that was written by like a 10yo, flooded with mistakes of all kinds. That was hilarious. But apart from that you can say that this is stock standard, to the extend that it isn't even good anymore. So yeah, I've established that gameplay is nothing extraordinary. The good points are certainly the visibile encounters, and a encounter free world map. But how can you get stronger, if you struggle to win? That is something that hasn't dawned on me (yet). But thankfully (to me) it was easy enough that I never had to grind. I did kinda complete all I could, though. And the story? Well, let me give one example: Princess from different continent, seeks help, gets amnesia (I don't even remember why), becomes a pirate, ends up joining your group, remembering stuff, talking to the other princess queen thingy, credits roll: PIRATE AGAIN. What? Do you proofthink this? Sorry. Still shaking my head in this very moment. So if you feel like you played all the good (and bad) RPGM games out there, and you're looking for something new: Don't look here. You'll either be disappointed or just mildy pleased. Very mildy.

This is another GREAT game by Orfeas. I played the demo at Aldorlea, but waited for the game to come out here on Steam. This game has so much going for it: great graphics, full screen, secret rooms to discover, great story, visible enemies who don't respawn (yayyy), several game modes, including Story mode as the easiest mode, and Nightmare as the hardest mode, and - something I haven't seen before - you can choose "Followers on/off, which means that if you go for off, you won't see the other characters trailing behind you, which always annoyed me in other games. I love old-school RPGs, and Orfeas has always been my number 1 developer in this genre. :)

interesting game - beautiful graphics with secret rooms and extra special secret rooms - a skill tree allows the player to build up each character and there is plenty of places to gather monies for items- a detailed quest guide helps with the game- story wise - an interesting one. the help sheets available do help with the game but detailed maps would be helpful in some of the caverns as would a portal to be able to return to same place after voiding out instead of having to repeat going through again. battles are not that hard in the normal mode as long as you have plenty of items. would recommend this game

I played this game in Story-Mode for about 13 hours, reached levels 21/22 and got a massively overflowing inventory ^^ Story-Mode for this game is really chilled, the enemies hardly leave a scratch and you can just enjoy story and music. A very relaxing experience. I liked the characters, especially goofy but goodhearted Prometheus, Snap the dog and Carba
the Shop-Cat
, I wish there was more backstory for the last two. I, too, liked, that the locations are not all available at once and only appear when a certain quest is offered to the heroes and that you have to gain the approval of the people to continue. Music and colors were pleasing to the eyes. Fighting with Infusions instead of standard weapons was a nice change. The story is not overwhelmingly deep but still enjoyable. There is some backtracking involved, but is not too annoying
well, the slime-pot in Ekino maybe ^^
. A nice little game to relax after a stressful day at work (at least in Story-Mode, Nightmare-Mode might be totally different though). I will surely download more games of this developer. Especially recommended for those who don't need and want constant thrills to be entertained ;)
