SNAPSHOT
An abandoned game that is not even worthy of early access
OVERALL - -2077 / 10

PROS
+ pixel art aesthetic is really great
CONS
- the art is the only good thing in this game
- countless bugs, many of which are game breaking
- clearly unfinished and abandoned
FULL REVIEW
I really wish I had positive things to say about this game - the idea and the framework are there for sure, but there are countless bugs that it should even be in early access yet. For whatever reason the devs put a $20 price tag on it but it isn't even worth paying $4 when it is 80% off. This game is literally an unfinished mess - it somehow got updates a few months ago but was seemingly abandoned for years before that so I have no idea what all the devs are playing because ~80% of the zones are devoid of content besides enemy placement and a couple of teleporters. If you think I'm joking about how bad it is, here is a list of all (?) of the bugs and other issues that I found while playing:
- trying to access display stands to sell items constantly crashes the game
- leaving the shop while it is open completely breaks the game forcing a restart
- trying to sell items to customers randomly doesn't work
- barter has no feedback whatsoever so you can spam the button after changing the price and nothing happens
- customers only wait around for a few seconds when they want to buy something (and time doesn't freeze when you're talking to them)
- bugged sleep dialogue shows over sale results screen
- selling shop furniture in build mode destroys any items you have placed on it
- shop contract handin destroyed a full stack of items (only needed + gave credit for 1)
- shop item #s sometimes extra large
- customer pathing is horrendous - they constantly get stuck / run in circles and won't leave
- enemy pathing is terrible and they often get stuck
- bosses easily get stuck and their attacks disappear making them easily exploitable
- none of the story quests past the tutorial area work meaning you can't progress whatsoever
- many side quests (e.g. metal detector quest) simply don't work at all
- can't purchase half of the shop upgrades (one of which is needed for one of *the first story quests*)
- tooltips for items in your backpack perpetually stop showing up and will even stop working WITHIN THE SAME MENU
- sometimes cannot pick up items from your inventory (need to spam click and hope it eventually works)
- sometimes trying to pick up items always immediately closes the dialogue
- trying to actually select displays close together super buggy
- minimap icons for some things don't show up on minimap whatsoever
- minimap indicator - bleeds
- minimap is completely broken in several places sending the player OFF THE MAP
- metal detector fires giant bullets that stay in one place with the backfire relic
- many relic items don't do anything whatsoever
- katana only fires backwards with the backfire relic equipped (lol)
- katana bugged with an infinite length ammo bar (even after restarting)
- can somehow reload the katana making it bugged AF
- weapons sometimes WON'T SHOOT
- projectiles that stick around and don't expire
- ammo crates don't refresh the metal detector
- remapping controls does not work whatsoever
- quest log text extends past the bounding box (and has duplicated objectives)
- enemies shooting towards you but not aiming at you
- price suggestions are WAY off even after getting the auto-pricing upgrage
- vast majority of NPCs have no dialogue interactions (especially ones that are clearly running a shop)
- NPCs in "dance club" literally just standing there
- buying access to zones say "one time purchase" but dude still keeps asking for me to buy it (even within the same dialogue where I just purchased it)
- can go into debt
- enemies don't drop anything unless YOU kill them (most enemies fight each other immediately)
- item sell price doesn't rollover numbers (meaning you have to manually change each one)
- can't scroll menu items with controller (but can with mouse wheel)
- can select items from a list that are not even visible on screen (e.g. shop furniture)
- ammo crates give LESS ammo the less of it you have (making it almost impossible to refill high ammo count weapons)
- random ? indicator floating in middle of research lab lol
- for some reason only the first zone has any points of interest besides the boss + teleporters
- there is literally only *1* puzzle and merchant point of interest in whole the game
If all of those are somehow not bad enough,
the game is so broken you can't even finish it.
This game is so unfinished I have no idea how the devs even got the game to run in the first place, but if you're still somehow reading this I can only say one thing: why??
Stay clear of this one unless you are a glutton for punishment and love games that simply do not work.

Fun concept, but riddled with bugs. Frequent crashes and softlocks.
