The best part of this game is the story. It is compelling and touching, with surprisingly complex and interesting characters. I found the pacing satisfying as you progressively learn about the family history and the lives of the various characters. The plot turned out to be very different from what I expected. The story is told through ghosts, with different elements of magic and mysticism, but in the end it is not really a tale about the supernatural. The simple and beautiful art styles is another big positive and fits well with the tone of the story. The gameplay is fairly simple. I would not call it a point and click adventure, because there is not that much freedom in the actions you can take. This makes the puzzles usually simple to figure out, though they can sometimes be tricky to execute. As a cat you are mostly a spectator, but it is up to you to nudge things and people to move events forward. I recommend the game to people who enjoy cats, old mansions, and family drama.
