Currently the game is more of a town management simulator then an actual strategy game. However, the town...breaks once you build a wooden house. You are no longer able to see those who are petitioning in your throne room. Additionally, trading is a bit jank. You are required to have an upgrade for the Armory in order to trade more than like two or three times with other realms. Most of the tier two buildings are locked behind stone, and while I haven't played super far into the game to figure out what stone harvesting research is needed. Being raided on day 3 for most of your gold reserves is very obnoxious but I do understand that stuff happened alot during the time period. The early game very slow as you only trickle in one gold per day.
That being said, it looks like this game can grow to something bigger. The ability to train your ruler is nice, although I have no idea how that effects your realm as of yet, other than arbritrary petiioning events.

I have only had the game for a few hours and I experienced a game ending bug. One of my counselors proposed I hold a ball and invite a lady but I could not choose any of the ladies and I could not exit the screen. The game seemed fun until that point. It seems more work is required by the developers.

Quite buggy, but playable with some fixes. Enjoyable game, but definately rough around the edges. The early-mid game is a loooottt longer than end game.

First off, I really like this game. It can be made as easy or as hard as you like. I like the story and the RPG elements. For some reason, after 17 hours into the game, my saved games would not load and nothing would work. I tried reinstalling, but that didn't help.
Now, I just turn it on once in a while, hoping that the game will work again. So in my experience, the game is a little quirky at best, but I still like the game a lot.

The game has a lot of potential and was a lot of fun. However, it seems to have some bugs. The Throne room does not work after about 30 minutes into the game. Trade works correctly about 1/2 of the time. Can not make weapons.

Its funny how this game has only 1 Save Slot. I saved just before making a decision as I was not sure. I loaded from the save point, now I am not able to proceed as it keeps saying attend to request in throne room but there is no one there and game wouldn't proceed. 1 hr went waste, is it too hard to have at-least 3 save slots if not more. Really pathetic.
Update: The developers do respond very fast,I am happy that they have sorted out the save issue by adding additional save slots. Cheers.

This game is strangely compelling. I have a civilization-like desire to play one more turn and get that next research completed.
For a developer's first game, it is pretty polished and I'm told you can complete the entire game with multiple endings. The devs are active on discord, and the road map looks like they are adding a ton of depth including incentives for replaying more than one playthrough.
Its early access so there are a few quirks and areas that are a bit shallow in gameplay but overall, for the price and content, I'm happy. Can't wait to see where it goes.

It is an interesting game, but its very time intensive with lots of repetitive clicking. The price is definitely not worth the games value. I would say this is a under $5 game in value. I cant in good conscious hit recommend for this because of these issues. But if they lower the base price to around $5, then I would recommend it.

This is a pretty basic game, the events seems so out of place some times and the details on characters and the other kingdoms is pretty lacking. It works pretty well tho as far as kingdom managements go, but its a pretty slow game and after a while it does get pretty boring. This game lacks in charm , its just another basic game that feels a bit empty. I would not recommend it but its not a bad game either.
Update, a couple hours later...
So yeah combat in this is pointless, bandits and other kingdoms attack you in much greater numbers and there is nothing you can do to prevent this. All you can do is focuse on building up a economy and use diplomacy to make them like you.
