For me it is a great game to boot up while on a work call. It doesn't take a lot of brain power, but just enough to keep my interest and pass the time. The replayability is where it falls apart for me. It's not a game I could boot up on my free time and play for hours. It's more of something to boot up when I don't have long to dig into something more complex. I enjoy the game for what it is, and I really like the concept. I just wish it had more depth and/or variety. Maybe let me build my own deck?

Fun little civ deck builder. Very much reminds me of SId Meier's Civ games. Good casual fun

I am really excited to have this game: it scratches many of the itches of CIvilization games, with a much more rapid, somewhat brutal play cycle. Definitely a good buy, especially if you can get it at discount.

Brilliant twist of the 4X/Civ type of game - turned into a deckbuilder. It is fast, it is interesting, it is addicting. Also it's relatively cheap, so what's not to like?

Byte sized Civilization with deckbuilding elements. A full game is maximum of 20 turns and can be played in one sitting.

Good game but by no means worth 20€, get it on sale and its fun and good side is that u can play fast games unlike civ for example

Compact, short and tactical. Sometimes that's the right fit.

Game is great, the combination of 4x strategy and card game is really interesting, as it limits your choices so you have to choose carefully what choice to make. Only downside I can see is that the AI even at the hardest level, is not hard at all.

Quite tightly executed 4x cardgame that feels purposefully short with daily and weekly quests that allow you to compare your performance to that of other players. It is a neat little game that plays fast and gives good 4x vibes, while allowing a single game to be played in under 30 minutes. Personally I felt a little annoyed by dailies and weeklies as an concept, but if it helps to maintain multiplayer community, then that's nice.
Deck management has been incorporated into gameplay quite intelligently - you have to be careful about which cards to burn, but burning them gives significant benefit. Whole game feels like a collection of carefully curated strategic choices played over hex map. Battles are fine - you bash together armies until you can dismantle production capacity of opposition.
Different civilizations are different enough - they are varied and all have their own gimmicks while basic gameplay stays the same. E.g. Greeks have specialty card that produces 1-2 science (that can be used to play techtree cards instead of their industry cost).
Having played around 10 hours (according to Steam) I feel that I have gotten a good grasp of what this game is about - which is a significant departure from e.g. Paradox strategy games that require much more effort before you start to feel you understand what they are about. So I doubt I will spend hundreds of hours playing this game, but this game feels like I could return to it every now and then to play a few games just because I need something simple to play.
It is a nice game. Plays fast and is fun. It is also a short game.
