Changing the review I had written previously due to them fixing my only issue I had.

Very, very short. The game lets you continue when you die, and you only look at your final score after beating the 4th boss. Disable effects for actual visibility.

The art style of this game is unique and beautiful, and the soundtrack is next level good. Things can get a bit crowded, but if you go into options and turn of screen shake and a couple other things the bullets will be pretty clear in front of you. It's clear that the dev put a lot of heart and soul into this one.
Would like more than one life to fight bosses as it does get crowded at times, but this game does reward effort and persistence as all good shmups do. As someone who loves shmups, we need all the innovation and effort we can get, and for that I applaud all of the time, effort, and risk this dev put into creating something exciting and nuanced. Pew!! Pew!! Pew!!

miniStrike is a horizontal PICO-8 shmup with very low visibility and short stages. It's hard to dodge bullets if you don't know where your ship is :D It is fun though and you can just retry stages until you clear them with minimal lives lost, get an extra live and continue. I'm using stock settings for now because I want the full experience. Apparently you can disable some effects for better visibility.
