They stripped the souls formula down to it's id so heavily that you don't even control your own movement but it still has more satisfying combat than most souls-likes.

This game might not look fancy at first glance but it just keeps getting better as you play along. There's a wide range of skills and move combos that you can discover and utilize to develop a tactic that suits your play-style. And the combat experience is really quite smooth.
Very well-thought-out souls-like game. But it's also straight-forward enough for a wider audience. I think anyone that likes ARPG will enjoy this.
