TCA has a lot a potential. But it's the same potential it had 3 years ago when it entered early access. The game suffers from an agonizingly slow development period that makes me lose hope that it will be anything other than a neat demo.
Every update until recently has just been small hotfixes or a new (enemy) unit here or there with no substance added to gameplay. At the time of this review, there is only one aircraft to fly, and there is no real campaign or mission editing. There is only a "quick action" mission generator and a test mission for what is likely a future dynamic campaign mode. And before the swarm of "It's only a single dev" comments, the last three-or-so updates have all been for integrating the Steam Workshop where, in a few months, the mod community has added more weapons, aircraft, and ground units that the dev has in three years.
Frankly, the game is just not worth selling at all in its current state, let alone for $20. At the end of the day, I would say don't be like me, and instead, curb your disappointment by leaving this game alone for now and to check again in a couple of years. Maybe in 2027 there will be something to show.

I played the hell out of the itch.io demo but this is a massive dissapointment. One map, one plane, very limited loadout options(especially compared to the freedom the demo was offering), annoying controls with no key binding support(lol?), all for the whopping 20 USD(after almost 3 years of development too mind you lol).
Unless its on a massive sale or the dev decides to start working on this again, I cant recommend this game. Go play the demo
