I only don't recommend it because it costs money. It really can only be played once or twice (twice to get 100%), but is very fun during the process. I understand the dev needs to make money off of it, but if it should cost anything, it should cost a dollar.

Not sure how this has "overwhelmingly positive" reviews. The shtick is that every time you press the button the game quits to desktop, and when you load back into the game there is a slight variation in the corridor. This game is tedious and uninteresting.

Don't mind the runtime, I accidentally left it open. It is indeed 20 or so minutes, at least on a single playthrough. Doing multiple can help find more achievements, but the actual game gimmick is a purposeful nuisance to deal with, so I wasn't inclined to try it again. If you're wildly into the concept of simple meta-narratives, it sort of provides that. But even then, don't expect a narrative. It didn't work for me, although I appreciate the silly premise and the creativity. It's a very light non-recommendation.

Utterly charming and very creative game, felt very Beginner's Guide inspired which I also loved!

Though not as brilliant or polished as The Stanley Parable, if you enjoy games in that vein (such as The Beginner's Guide & Dr. Langeskov, The Tiger, and The Terribly Cursed Emerald: A Whirlwind Heist) you'll easily get two bucks worth of entertainment out of THE CORRIDOR.

Hahaha, what the hell! I wasn't sure if I should give a positive review, but it doesn't really make sense to do otherwise with this type of game. I didn't come across any bugs or other defects that could have led to a negative review. And if I hadn't liked the game at all, I just wouldn't have continued playing it. But did I really enjoy the game? Phew, I don't quite know. But I knew it wasn't that long anyway, so I “struggled” through it. And yes, some parts at least made me smile. After about 25 minutes of playing time, I wasn't mad when it was over then.

Similar in concept to The Stanley Parable or Beginner's Guide in that frequently breaks the fourth wall. Unlike those games, it doesn't use it to create any interesting experience about agency or reasons for playing games. The repetition is shallow and seems gimmicky, and the narrator is one-dimensional. It just doesn't go anywhere. It's not worth thirty minutes.

Stanley Parable, the Button Corridor, with shades of Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy for flavour but not quite as annoying. A short little game that is quite clever and left me wanting for more, but in a good way. Finished in under an hour and a half. I'll say there isn't much replay value after you get the achievements because of how the game is structured, but it's pretty good overall and worth the $3 or so I spent on it.

This game messed my mind up so bad. Really fun for people that want a short but engaging experience and have some cash on their account. 10/10 game. Buy it.
