Interesting game. Could have been so much more but it actually ends up being quite frustrating: Cons: 1. The towers do not intelligently target the enemies. Ideally they should target the enemy where they can have the most impact. But at a minimum they should target the ones that are the furthest up. The targeting logic is also not consistent so you can't really plan around this. 2. The game is like a puzzle that has maybe one way of winning. What you are doing in the gameplay is try to figure out what that way is. In the original defense grid you could apply different strategies and have multiple ways of winning. Here I am forced to try to figure out the timing and nature of the waves to understand exactly what to do. 3. The game barely offers you really minuscule surplus of resources. So you really do not have room for innovation and trying new things out. 4. Game does not offer a fallback to previous checkpoint. So in case you fail you start over again. 5. The different towers are not differentiated that much. You will end up overusing the laser tower. Pros: 1. Inexpensive 2. Decent gameplay. 3. Lower levels were fun to play.
