This game is truly immaculate. I bought it as a joke only to discover the greatness that lies beyond the title screen. STORY: The story, while open to interpretation, is amazing. Without going into too much detail to avoid spoilers, it perfectly captures what the name might already suggest. The characters are diverse, each with their own distinct personalities and goals. They are morally grey and it is not entirely clear who is on which side (though visual background storytelling gives off strong hints and I have my own theories). 10/10 CONTENT: The game features multiple game modes, such as an arena to play with or against your friends or even on your own. There of course is a campaign, which even unlocks a new character! I won't spoil what it is of course, but it was a surprise to be sure! 8/10 due to the multiplayer not being online. GAMEPLAY: You'd think there isn't much to it, playing food and all, but you'd be wrong. The 4 (5 if you count the unlockable) characters have unique gameplay each. The 3 abilities and even the 2 standart attacks every character has bring something entirely new to the table. Be it strong melee with focus on the abilities, or having to utilise the standart attacks as best you can, ranged combat or even a healthy mix of the two. 9/10 BALANCING: Having a pvp arena, balancing is a factor that has to go into my final rating. Overall, the characters are well balanced, though it could use some work. One characters standart attacks are a bit too weak in my opinion, and one ability of 2 different characters could be seen as too strong. But since there are ways to play around that, a player that is slightly more skilled with the weaker character could still reasonably best another player with the stronger character. Ranged against melee always seems like a balancing problem, but this game truly excels at it, so no problems there. 8/10 FINAL RATING: This game is an underrated gem and you should definetly pick it up. It is way underpriced. Don't be fooled by my playtime. I bought the game for a friends and we played it A LOT at his place. I love this game like I love only few. 9/10 Masterpiece
