Probably the most physically engaging VR game I've played since Beat Saber. I've been looking for a game that just honest to god involves me punching something, and this game scratches that itch really well. Stuff like Blade & Sorcery doesn't cut it for me, I wanna swing these meat hands and feel the impact. I enjoy punching in this more than in Thrill of the Fight, it just feels snappier to punch, duck, step back, block, all within seconds of each other; it's engaging and challenging. I've had more fun with this sparring dummy than mindlessly punching unity store assets until they ragdoll.

It's hard for me to find a cool vr workout game. I desperately need to accompany my PowerBeatsVR, PistolWhip and FitXR. Refund several workout app that I thought to be fun: but not.
But, I am going to keep Crazy Kung Fu!
Standing, I need to maintain my focus, reflex whilst punching.
Love it!

Overall, this is a good game, but it requires a lot of movement, so make sure you have enough room for that and be careful not to hurt yourself.

For such a simple game (so far) it's actually enjoyable. I just wish there was a setting to disable the moving camera effect. The execution doesn't work that well because of it's sudden change making it feel really awkward. Anyway, it's well worth the money. Hopefully the'll add a way to incorporate having to fight in certain style like crane, dragon, monkey, etc...

Honestly, I really enjoy the concept, but there's something about this game that doesn't really seem to enjoy me playing it either, so this sits at a solid 4/10 for me. It's great exercise (if you have some method of counting calories burnt besides the arbitrary in-game numbers they throw at you), but this isn't like Creed or Thrill of the Fight where the effort you put in directly impacts your ability to succeed. Sometimes things just refuse to work as intended, and in others, RNG holds an attempt hostage by throwing obstacles in your way at the worst possible times.
I can put my all into this game and it just doesn't seem to reward it with how finnicky the tracking can be, or how unforgiving the game's requirements for each target can be. I block and it doesn't count. I punch and it doesn't count. With no regard for how scrunched up and bent I might be from avoiding the sheer number of blades each level sends my way, it can be like none of the moves count if you aren't standing up perfectly straight and doing each of them incredibly slowly. Sometimes one movement will work for something, and the next it won't. I could punch directly on the center at the exact right moment, and it would deduct a heart.
Maybe this game isn't meant to be Airlinked with a Quest 2, but it genuinely feels like my success relies more on getting good blade RNG to not screw over my positioning than any actual input on my end.

It's just not fun. can't properly duck and get away from the blades because the game doesn't properly take into account your distance and timing. Even though i can at times see the blades miss me, they still hit me. Not a well made game unfortunately. The issue could have to do with other factors like the VR headset i'm using. Which is the Rift S.
But i don't notice this issue in other games.

I am very pleased with this purchase. It has been the perfect addition to my humble workout game library.
Blocking feels harder than it should be but after reading the comments the dev seems very responsive. I highly recommend this.

Very good game, works well on my Rift S. There are a couple of issues with this game as well as some areas that could be improved. I have a 20 year martial arts background and love this type of training instead of just VR boxing all the time. I really enjoy dodging the spinning blades while trying to throw hits from very unorthodox angles.
Here are the biggest flaws I've found that need to be improved for this to be great:
-BIGGEST ISSUE: too often blocks are counted as punches. Especially low blocks. This is my biggest complaint.
-I have no idea how hard my punches are. Am I hitting hard enough? Do I need to throw harder because I'm not scoring a lot from these hits? No clue. There needs to be an indicator of some kind.
-Do I get more points if I throw blocks with force or is a stationary block counted the same?
-It is really unclear what the timing is based on. It definitely isn't about hitting the pad when it's passing through centerline because I often hit them when they're on the sides and get a green. Then again I can't really focus on the green when there are 3 arms swinging.
-How exactly is the level progression accomplished? There is no indicator of what performance level or score level etc is needed to progress to the next level. There should be a clear goal requirement for advancement.
Hopefully all of these things get fixed in the early release and if so, this will be a gem. So far, good job devs! Can't wait til there are foot detectors supported and we can get some kicking action going!

About as close as you can get to a training simulator for martial arts. You aren't hitting things to a soundtrack. It is purely a training dummy with spinning targets you either Block (forearm), punch, or dodge. The harder and firmer your form, the more points you build up.
If you're looking for a game that will give you a little cardio workout, pick this up. Level 5 and beyond will have you sparring with 3 simultaneously spinning targets to work with.
This game had me sweating from my eyelashes. When you find your groove, and stop 'trying', your natural reactions become instant. Your right hand will be blocking, but your already looking to your left to intercept the next target.
Well worth the price.
