Minimol Games really know how to create puzzle games and compared with the other from the franchise this is the one I like the most. Stunning Low Poly environments with a great experience in solving puzzles is a perfect combination. Fully recommended!

This game is even better than it seems! The puzzles are great, the graphics are A-MA-ZING, and the overall experience of the game is quite innovative. One thing I liked is how you go seamlessly from one level to another. You forget you are just solving puzzles and really immerse as in an adventure-like game. Recommended!

Very cool addition to Chess Knights series!
I simply love the series and its take on puzzle games using chess movements.
The Viking theme is amazing: the visuals.... the soundtrack and sound effetcs... just... AMAZING!

There are times where you want to play a game without any difficulty, but with a clear and nearby end. This is said game. Don't expect challenging puzzles, it's about ELO300. An OK game.

If you like to play chess competitively, skip this one. Chill puzzles involving chess movements.

The VFX of the snow and fireflies are the best part of this game. It's a good game, but for a lot of stages the solutions can be simple by throwing bodies at the enemies and walking the rescues back with no strategy. Knights Shinobi beats this by a mile, which is why I wouldn't recommend this even though the game is fine.

It's been a while since I played chess and when I tried this game I could remember that beginner feeling.
I Recommend this game for those who like chess and also likes a good mind challenge.
I liked some scenario items left behind … buckets, wooden decks and wagons that block areas in board, these kind of things got rid of predicables movements and make things more challenging. I also liked the way some parts got half-covered by snow, this increase the challenge and make me think twice on choosing where to move … specially against Bishops. A little suggestion to improve a sense of progress could be some kind of icon or text that tells the current chapter and stage.

Move chess knights across varying boards to pick up pieces from one square and return them to home squares while avoiding being taken by AI driven enemy pieces.
There are a lot of issues here, the difficulty wildly varies, though ultimately never gets particularly clever and many of the puzzles become just a matter of moving one of your safe pieces back and forth until the board state lets you win.
Some levels try to limit that which is where you feel a sudden difficulty spike which just ends up being more frustrating than challenging.
What makes this worse is how ridiculously intensive the game is, my GPU fans were spinning up to max, and I was dropping frames in a chess puzzle game... It doesnt look particularly terrible, but there certainly isnt enough to justify that kind of hit. (Maybe it was bugged out, makes no real difference either way.)
The interface is also horrible. Some levels will just kick you back to the menu, it doesnt make it at all clear which levels youve completed. (A problem with the bonus levels that all appear to unlock at once with no indication of which youve finished.) Moving pieces is sluggish, its undo doesnt work consistently, etc.
The basic interface and mechanics are very simple, I can not see any justification for how shoddy it all feels.
So no, I cant really recommend this, and I believe there are several other chess based puzzle games on Steam that do a much better job of things.

This game is boring as fuck and not challenging at all. Despite what the description says this game is not innovative in the slightest, all you do is take control of a knight and move in an L-Shape until you eventually beat the puzzle. I have absolutely no idea how people can say this game is "immersive" and has "great graphics". Even for three dollars I can't recommend this game. BTW I really wanted to like this game because I love chess.

I think this game is both for who enjoys Chess and those that doesn´t care too much, but loves to solve puzzles. It starts to be very challenging as you advance through the game. Looks like a movie filmed in single shot, due to the nice scene transitions and the very immmersive storyline.
The art and music are inspiring!
I recommend for sure!
