Teratopia Is a grate game why well 1. the characters are wacky and I love them 2. the classes are cool although I think the engineers should build turrets 3. love the boss music. I rate this game 10/10 I would love to be a sequel.

Disclaimer: This is a mature game that has an old school vibe of early rare games with it mature yet childish jokes. This may be a great game for people who grew up in the 90s but may seem stupid or boring to others.
Teratopia has a strange cast of characters from the main characters you play and the bosses taking on a more mature aspect but not enough that your parents wouldn't mind you playing it as a kid, well maybe one boss does pass that line. All 11 bosses are part of the same family from the aunts, mom, and dad and the grandparents. Each with their own unique fighting style and way you should go about attacking them. Their character design and the mature themes they have to them, truly give me 1990s Rare games vibes, almost like a kid's game art style of Banjo Kazooie with the adult humor of Conkers Bad Fur Day.
The way you defeat the bosses is up to you depending on who of the 3 you choose to fight them with. You can change out any character at any time when you are inspecting the map to return to the levels.
You can play as Tucho the melee variant with his up close and personal punches and with a high damage but somewhat low health he is more of a hard hitter and end the fight soon type of player.
Benito the Ranged character fast with a descent range to fire upon enemies but the damage is low and large groups of enemies can take a while to dwindle down.
And lastly Horacio the wizard with a decent poison attack that damages over time and can be stacked up to 6 times. The only issue I had with him was his moment and doge it just feels clunky and a little uncontrollable.
All can summon minions to help them in battles. There are 5 minion variants melee, ranged, berserker and mage are exactly what you think they are, the last one is the engineer that can use turrets around the map to help you and like to eat carrots. Every main character has the same minions but they play different roles like the berserker for Tucho is a tank that deals good damage and for Benito his berserker has high health and doesn't fight only taking the agro to give the other summons time to finish them off. The minions are alright I tend to forget I had them for most of the game but they can help you out when you are in a tight boss fight and some boss fights need the help of the summons to distract the boss or disarm traps, they may have set.
So that’s really all you need to know of the game and really my opinion of it. I think it’s good fun, teratopia is one of those turn your brain off and just punch things type of games. Nothing that will really push you to the max. I loved the visuals with its gross looking characters and absurd boss fights. The level design is decent but with the controls feeling a little floaty especially when you jump can be a recipe for disaster. I died more from falling off the map then I did from standard enemies. If the controls were tightened up and possible a little more work on the level design this would be a great game, but im not disappointed that I played it I enjoyed the 4 in a half to 5 hours I played the game. There are some achievements that I missed when it came to collecting things and I think I will make run another playthrough to get them. I think the game is fun enough for another playthrough.

I've enjoyed every minute.
Nice graphics and gameplay, difficulty isn't hard, already killed 5 bosses, the difficulty increase with each level.
Unique and hilarious bosses.
Grab a gamepad, sit and enjoy

I mean I feel really bad cause it's clear the devs had a vision for they wanted to do and it is painfully overlooked for the amount of work they clearly put in. The game is just too bare bones and repetitive. You mash one button to do stale combos against a couple different enemy types and the minions feel like a sort of tact on gimmick because they such little damage and mindlessly walk into whatever enemy they see. They get stuck on stuff constantly and sometimes just refuse to attack things right in front of them. They are nearly pointless in boss fights. But also YOUR moves kind of suck so it seems you're supposed to rely on them, but you can't because they're so bad.
