For a personality dating sim the characters seem to somewhat lack it. The situations are so barebones that when it gives you the choice to keep dating or not you've barely done anything. Then it already rushes into a wonderful married life where you don't know your spouse or what they like and gives you a few scenarios to decide whether it works out. While it's cheap I still feel like it's not worth it.

Very Simplistic in a bad way, only 5 characters to choose, very limited amount of questions you can ask, and after you finish 1 run and go to main screen you can easily guess which response fits each character. All that said it is very cheap so you cant expect much from it.

Considering how cheap this game is, I would recommend it, but keep in mind what you are getting into first. This is very clearly a beginner's project, using the limited tools of TyranoBuilder. Having tried to use this program and knowing it's limitations, I am very impressed they were able to do everything they did with this game. That being said, all of these things really show. Where the game truly shines is its writing, but the execution could use a lot of work. At first I found the characters very shallow, however, once you get to talk to them one on one, hear about their backstories and personal trials, I found all the ones I talked to very interesting and felt an emotional attachment to them. I think the concept is really cool, and it shines through in the question and one on one segments. It's a really fun idea to think about and there's a good level of romance between you and the potential boyfriends/girlfriends/partners. That being said, the ending segments feel very rushed, with the date not really expanding on their characters and feeling painfully short, and the predictor is based on very superficial things that sort of go against the whole point of the game. I think it's worth buying to support the developer, and because the main section is actually pretty enjoyable. However, as the developer improves, I really hope they come back and revise this idea, because its a really cool one, it's just, right now this could use more time in the oven and a better execution.

Honestly I love the idea of this dating sim. Content is a little light, and there's really not much since it's purely based on personality. That being said, I love the idea of this, and thought it made for a fun, short time! I got matched with green btw

I liked it! Having to pick a relationship based on a personality is a very cool concept. My only complain is that it's short experience. I would love to play a follow up with more complex characters and more content.
Cool concept, but I wish it had gone deeper. For $1.50 it wasn't bad.
I liked it! I found the characters surprisingly three dimensional for such a short, cheap game (although they still weren't super complex). I found the ability to enter in our own responses interesting in theory, but lacking in practice, a) because the responses the characters give back are (obviously) canned, and b) you get the same questions over and over again, so there's not a point to typing your responses more than once. It would have been more interesting if the game gave different prompts per character, or if there were a bigger selection of random prompts any character could give you, so you have more incentive to actually use that mechanic throughout the game. I also think that the game missed an opportunity to have a story, which I think would have enhanced the overall experience. Online dating seems like an obvious backdrop this game could have used, for example. Overall I think the game is worth $1.50, but I personally would have preferred it to be longer/more involved, and cost a little more.

This feels more like luck then a personality dating simulator. I feel like in the game there really isn't a way to actually get to know the mystery date. Some of the scenarios feel like you have to know information about the character that you just aren't given in the small selection of questions you can ask the personalities. I

Great music, and the person I ended up with really fit my protective instincts. I would love to see this again, but with more characters. To be honest, the choice was a little too easy for me based off of some of the "extra" dialog the other characters had. I would love to see a new version of this with greater fleshed out and complex personalities. This was honestly a really cool concept, and it was something I guess I never knew I wanted, haha.

The idea of building a relationship based on personality, in lieu of gender or appearance is brilliant. Unfortunately, the character personalities are so one dimensional they could be tropes. I don't think I could give this game a good review even if it had been free.

First let's keep in mind how little money you actually spend on this game. The idea of it is great, and I definitely think with a little more time put into planning it out this game could have shined. As it is right now, it's still looking a bit dull and I want to go into why that is. PROS:

Great idea - I've never encountered a dating sim that focuses on personality before.
Asking the colours questions was great and having them interact at times over each other's answers was also great.
The sprites of the revealed love interests are also really good (I admit I have no idea if these were free assets like I know some of the backgrounds were).
CONS:

Barely touch on the colours' personalities. For a game - even a short one - about judging personalities over looks, I was looking for some more meaningful interactions. The questions were a good start but I felt like there could have been a few more - or another more creative way (a Round 2 so to speak) that uncovered more of their personality. After the questions when I saw 'Life Story' pop up on screen I thought that meant we'd learn about their past and how it shaped them as a person; not their literal life story after dating you.
Some choices might as well not even be there and don't match the personalities we have come to know. My example of this is when the option to marry your chosen colour arrives. You get the illusion of 2 choices 'Propose' or 'Wait for them to propose'. I chose to wait for every partner, and every time it would say 'They don't propose because they were waiting for you to be as assertive as you were when you...'. For the more shy personalities this makes 100% sense. But there were at least 3 colours I would argue could have asserted themselves.
Yellow is flirty and confident - and yet they don't propose at all when you wait for them? It just didn't strike me as making sense and since this is a game focusing on personalities it isn't something I can just look past.

No interactions with the colours actually feel meaningful. I know people have commented on the length of the game and said it's too short. I don't have a problem with that because long doesn't mean good or even better. What this dating sim about personality lacks is... personality. You get to know the colours on a surface level, but not enough that it even makes you want to know more. The questions was a good call - there was a nice mix of light-hearted and more serious questions. Then there was the date stage which was... alright. Then you had to buy them a gift and hope it was the right one (you get a hint during the questions stage), and then... you get an epilogue of your life with them? Asides from the questions stage, the characters barely speak at all. The epilogues for all colours are more or less exactly the same
Overall, it was an interesting experience. I am curious as to why the developer decided to charge money to play it. If this were free I would say go ahead - it's an interesting enough idea to give it a go, regardless of the lacklustre content. However, I can't recommend paying for this (even for as low a price as it is) because it just is not worth the money. It could do with a polish, and more effort spent on the dialogue and interactions. I don't think it was a bad game - just a half finished one.
