A nice casual rougelite with a little "spice" if you know what I mean, cause you do since you saw the content warning/description.
So far for early access it shows promise, almost a hour in and I have not experienced a bug. In my books with this type of game thats a good sign to quality control.
Progress is steady but the levels background dont have a feel of difference, maybe some particle effects and light rays to change up the scene, but hey early access so its expected. This is the type of game I fit into my spare time if I have a moment to spare.

Great Rouge Deck Builder enjoyed my runs so far currently there's only one character "Mona" but she has three different skill trees.
A unique Level up system makes every run feel different and engaging.

This is a slay the spire type game with a small twist, you have unit placement which matters a bit in the gameplay. It's enough of a twist that after having played both STS and Monster Train, to still set itself apart. The game felt fun to play in the hours played so far. I can't say yet whether it will stay fresh, but for a couple of bucks it cost me compared to the couple of hours played it was a good experience. It is a bit on the easier side though I would say if you're experienced in the genre.
As primary negative, I would say some of the controls feel counter-intuitive and could use a lot of work. I feel it would be of value if the dev would sit with some new users and really see how they experience things (perhaps inexperienced in the genre and experienced in the genre). You also don't unlock the new cards all that fast, but the rate seems fine. Furthermore, the quality of the artwork seems a bit inconsistent. Perhaps this is due to it still being in early access, but it's worth pointing out. About early access; be aware that the rate of which updates dropped in recent months have been low - so consider buying this game as-is not for it's future potential.
If you liked STS and MS, definitely pick this up as a third game when it's in a sale.

Needs some polish - some spelling, visual and user experience tweaks, and some minor balance issues - but the game has a strong foundation of deckbuilding with minor tactics elements, offers a reasonably diverse range of strategies, and is paced far better and provides better replayability options than some similar games (such as Banners of Ruin).
I would hope that this game gets more polish with another year of work, but even in its current state it's an enjoyable entry into the genre that ticks all of the boxes for a strong core experience - relevant decisions in combat, relevant decisions with deckbuilding/rewards, solid cross-run progression options, etc.

Appears to be abandonware. It has a lot of potential, and I like the game mechanics, but since there have not been updates in over a year, you have to figure the dev has vanished.

Definitely is an early access title and it still need quite a bit of polish but the mechanics feel solid for the most part. As someone who has become obsessed with deck builders since Slay the Spire I'm excited to see where this one goes.

It's alright. The latest update added more difficulties and curses/threats to make the game harder. There are some enemies that are a bit overtuned when they have the pack threat active (Rat defender with two angels that deal 46 damage comes to mind). Summons/Elites are pretty weak overall. For elites I found myself just taking a strong activated skill, using it once then letting them tank some hits and dying.

wow , great game :) Really good
----------------------Pros------------------
- lots of cards
- decent amount of heroes each with coll stats (makes chosing difficult)
- Different trees to unlock
- lots of play hours
- runs smooth on simple laptop
----------------------Cons--------------------------
-no safe ability during run .... really ???
Buy it if you love Monster Train , Neoverse , STS , Gordian Quest etc....

Nice graphics, nice ideas, and certainly lots of potential.
But right now, the execution is problematic: the game needs a lot of work on the ergonomy. It's painful to clic & target, to validate, to confirm, to confirm after a clic etc. The whole UI needs to be revamped (check Gordian Quest, check Slay The Spire). It reached a point where it's preventing me from willing to play.
There are also balancing issues. The starting cards feel weak, the opponent are doing too much damage too early and the covenant grind helps, but doesn't motivate enough. Overall, the devs need to play their own game much much more (sorry if they do already), as some balance troubles feel very obvious when you play.
I'll give it another try after an update, and I'll review my note then.

Loved this game
Good artwork, good game mechanics and gameplay, all good...
Need to play a bit more but feels like it feels like a better version of slay the spire
