my favorite Deluxe table

This game has a lot of great tables, even retro ones, but i don't like a single Deluxe table. I don't want to say that they are all crap, but they are. Everytime it starts with, "it's only 2,50" and ends with "i don't buy the next one." Hope i can do it next time. Go back to old school guys.

::2nd update:: From one extreme to the other. Wow. What an utter piece of trash. Haha, dude 146 mil on ball #1, and then all bumpers stop working during an all out $120 mil multiball run. I knew something was up when the Player Position font went light blue, then dark blue. I mean geezus freaking christ man. ::updated:: I revisited this table, and I found a bit of charm to it in the way the story mode progressed. I got another cheap ball drain kickback on like ball 1 or 2 which pissed me off (complaint from first review(below) and most of these deluxe tables), so I restarted the table b/c I really wanted to try all the missions as they seemed fun and challenging, yet attainable. Sure, enough on my 2nd game I became Master of the Universe. It was my first time completing a story mode on a Deluxe table so it was pretty freaking cool(:: pushes up his nerd glasses::), and the game gave me like 5 seconds to take in the victory until it gave me my ball back. At this point in time, I experienced less kickback & ball saves going straight to the drain. Same with Spooky Deluxe. The last time I played these two tables several months ago, I was getting godawful Ball Saves that launched perfectly between the drain and flipper. This has occurred to me only twice in my recent hour long visits with these two tables so there must have been a patch or perhaps, I got stuck in a bad "random" physics loop within the games code. Anyways, months later the tables are playing nicer. ::Original Post:: I thought Zankor Deluxe's multi-ball aim was bad but.... Yes, please, throw 50% of my multi-balls right into the trash. Also, why is the left bottom bumper acting like an old school bumper that doesn't always trigger even if it's hit with decent force? Not a fan of this table. But before I click submit. The two pros: The main loops are offset enough that I can't simply rely on muscle memory from the loop patterns from most other tables. Second, I like the various ways the missions are triggered.

I'm a very CASUAL pinball enthusiast -- that is, I love pinball, and try to play it whenever I see a table in real life usually. But I'm not a good player, and I pay minimal attention to where I'm hitting the ball, or the state of the table. (As you might expect, of all the Zaccaria tables, I only enjoy the Deluxe tables -- the flashier, the better.) I've demoed all of the Deluxe tables, and "Universe Deluxe" was my 3rd purchased Deluxe table. It's not the flashiest, but it's the only table that consistently gives me multi-ball (4 balls, I think). It's glorious: I get multi-ball pretty much every other game. I'm just mashing buttons, but it seems whenever the ball ends up bouncing around in the top end of the first level, there's a good chance multi-ball gets triggered. (I don't even know the specific trigger state, never read the ruleset.) For the reason of multi-ball, this was a buy for me. It's quite enjoyable. For more serious players, this table is pretty good as well, because "The Crow Continuum" gave a positive review here on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LxLD9-eZ-tA That being said, it's not as flashy as the other two deluxe tables I've bought already: Robot and Pool Champion. The whole Captain Zac theme is also kinda corny / retro / zany -- I like it -- brings on the nostalgia vibes, which is partly why I enjoy pinball in the first place.

This is my favourite of the Deluxe tables so far. I haven't learnt all of its secrets yet but it just has a really nice feel to it. Seems well balanced.
