i'll start off with saying, that the soundtrack is good. but, i have a few problems with this game. the first of them is, i don't think the combat has much strategy. you have a punch, and
the standard rpg special skills. enemies are weak to certain skills. but you don't know which. so you to attack them with the skills and, if you chose the right skill, you get a crit. so you more or less play at random, until you choose the right skill then, you just use that. they do make it a bit better with having the resource that you use to activate skills come from regular attacks. so it makes an interesting decision, do you use all of it now to attack, or save it for heals. that adds a bit of strategy but, i quickly found myself pretty bored of combat. my second problem is. the characters just didn't connect with me. i just didn't really care about them. but my biggest problem is, this game just didn't give me very much, feeling. throughout this game i was mostly just bored and a bit curious. i only got one ending, so maybe the others are great. also the art is good. just thought i should mention that.

First of all, I'm waiting for the soundtracks to be released on spotify.
For the game. It has own style. As an artist i like assets much and well combined with hybrid theme. Soundtracks makes me feel like playing retro shooter game but this one is different. This one makes you comfortable and uncomfortable at the same time. If you're going to ask why cause monsters and level designs a lil creepy. Overall works well.
I don't like much turn based rpg but this games makes me want to play and play over. Story has well outcome (if you like). I guess story not that long but the vibe they game me with this game is wholesome. I miss this kinda games and Frymore doing well. Keep it up boys.
Devs are open to criticism. When you find a bug or something or just wanna ask something. They respond fast. This is one more plus for 'em.
Give it a chance and chill for a couple hours.
A little note.
If you cant finish any game. You can finish this one. I've a friend like that and i guess he is going to finish his first game and i guess this game is going to be first from among his 200 games library.

More Dull Kombat. But seriously, this is one of the most boring, uninteresting games I've played. Combat is super limited with no depth and no variations for the whole adventure, gameplay loop is always the same (find object, defeat boss, give him the object, recruit), dungeons are overly long and a slog to to through since there's nothing to do, story is generic, characters have no personality, ending is abrupt, feels like the devs just stopped caring after a while. The techno and synth tracks are fairly good though, even if they feel out of place.

The premise of the game intrigued me but the music in the trailer is what really sold me.
You play a kid that's trying to figure out what's going on. The horror aspect is, I think, done well. I bought this game late and night and I definitely felt the dread. This game doesn't rely on cheap jumpscares for the horror, but instead goes for a sense of uneasiness, that the world around you is off, that the people are off, and so on.
This game has light rpg elements to it: There's combat, but there's no exp. You get stronger at the end of each dungeon, but there's no weapons, no armor, no inventory to worry about, and you heal at the end of each battle.
I am, however, giving this a thumbs down for a few reasons.
I like the design of the dungeons, the use of a set of core assets to bring a sense of identity to them but also foreboding along the way. I don't like how wide and large the dungeons are. The main character walks slowly which is understandable considering the atmosphere. A button to run would be great for this, making the walk speed faster, or making the dungeons not as wide and as long as they are.
Combat is why I am not recommending this game. Your primary attack is a slider where you have to time the button push (think Undertale/Deltarune). A successful attack gives you one energy (max 4) to your magic gauge.
The wrong magic spell hits for 5-10, the right one hits for 20. On all enemies. The weakness is
usually lighting, and almost never shard
. Sometimes a full magic bar with the right spell hits for 80. Sometimes it doesn't.
So, combat works like this: Punch -> cast, punch -> cast, punch -> cast. The music doesn't make up for the tedium. The only variety in enemies combat-wise is how much they hit you for and what lines are written when they hit you. When the final dungeon came around, I grabbed a debugger so I could two-shot every enemy because I was just **done**.
This game has multiple endings, but when you get to the end (I got 1), you do NOT get the option to start over. Oh no no no, if you want to start over, YOU have to manually delete your save or uninstall/reinstall the game. Seriously?
I really like the music, the ambiance, but I despite how slow this game feels (slow walk speed in overlarge dungeons), and I loathe the combat.

Kinda surprised this game hasn't exploded more.
Very fun. If you enjoy games such as Sally Face or The Cat Lady ( or light rpg games ) you will probably dig this.

I liked demo very much and decided to enjoy the full game.
Wasn't able to play it the first time because of the endless loading screen bug, which was quickly fixed (check the comments below)
The developers are very nice and responded fast, helping with the game issue.
The game itself has a pretty unique grotesque setting and atmosphere, which quickly grabbed my attention. Very creative and original story and concepts, that I really liked.
It doesn't have the prettiest art style, but that has its charm - simple creepy graphics makes a perfect match for such setting. Creepy, yet simple and charming in its own way - pure eye candy <3
The music is such a banger that it deserves a separate Soundtrack page on Steam.
The gameplay part is a bit hard on the first sight - but once you get used to it, you can get a hang on it. Pretty simple and repetetive - yet, it doesn't make the game any worse. I believe it's a perfect match of a tense gameplay and the overall terrifying atmosphere.
Certainly recommended to buy - if you like indie games and are a fan of light horror themes (which i personally love)
Cheers to the devs team <3
Hoping to see more games in the future!
upd
Just beat the game - very nice and wholesome, just as I expected. It took me about 4 hours.
Although gotta say, that the end part was too long and unnecessary prolonged, which almost made me sleepy while playing. Disliked that part, too forced and very woozy.
Overall game was such a trip - espesially considering it was created by two people! You have my respect guys. Very well made and is a wonderful experience!
liked the ending very much, the most wholesome thing ever, happy that everyone are fine <3
