Really great game, crazy that it's in early access as there's so much substance to it with loads more to come on their roadmap which is really exciting as it's also got great bones for future updates.
If you enjoy business sim games and don't mind a bit of an early grind I'd 100% recommend this game.
Also there's always difficulty to find parking which I think is humorously realistic for living/working in a city.
Looking forward to future updates!

It is a business simulation game that goes beyond the typical tycoon experience, offering an immersive and detailed journey from small-time entrepreneur to corporate powerhouse. Whether you’re running a humble gift shop or managing a tech manufacturing empire, the game offers an addictive blend of strategy, creativity, and logistics. I'll list some of the key features as pros and cons to help you decide if you want this game or not.
Pros

Incredible Depth and Variety:
From fast food joints to high-tech factories, the range of business types allows for endless experimentation. You’re not just opening stores but also you’re managing supply chains, employees, marketing, and expansion strategies. You might find it difficult to manage every aspect in the first couple of days, but after sometime every new store becomes a different exciting story for you.

Freedom to Build Your Empire:
You start small but can grow into a sprawling business empire. The game lets you choose your path, whether that’s dominating one industry or diversifying across multiple sectors. Even if some specific store types are just more efficient than the rest and therefore direct you into some specific route, it is a business simulation game after all, you could always choose a different path.

Detailed Management Systems:
You can control every aspect of your business from pricing & inventory to interior design & staff satisfaction. The granular level of control makes each decision feel impactful. You need to watch out for the prices since they are pretty dynamic, and make sure you have enough storage to please all your customers.

Satisfying Progression:
There’s a genuine sense of achievement as you watch your businesses grow. Each milestone like opening a new location or automating operations feels rewarding.

Realistic Challenges:
From balancing cash flow to dealing with supply shortages, the game reflects real-world business complexities without being overwhelming.
Cons

Repetitiveness in Late Game:
Once you establish a successful business model, the gameplay loop becomes repetitive. The thrill of expansion gives way to routine maintenance without many new mechanics to keep things fresh. I had lots of days of just sleeping and scrolling around mood boosters to keep everything running.

UI and Automation Complexity:
Managing multiple businesses can feel clunky at times, especially when handling logistics. While the automation systems are powerful, they could be more user-friendly as your empire grows.

Limited Personal Interaction:
While you can roam the city, there’s little meaningful personal life development or interaction beyond the business sphere, missing an opportunity to add depth to the character’s journey. After a while, you don't even need to go to NPC buildings since you are able to do everything with your phone.

Lack of Dynamic Competition:
Other businesses exist, but they don’t evolve or compete aggressively. A more dynamic market where competitors react to your strategies would add an extra layer of challenge. There could be even some interaction with your rivals to settle down and move on.
Big Ambitions is a fantastic choice for players who love the thrill of building and managing businesses. It captures the satisfaction of entrepreneurial success while offering detailed and realistic systems. Although it can become repetitive in the late game, the core experience is addictive and rewarding.
Consider this is just an early access game and there are still a lot to improve, but with ongoing updates, it has the potential to become one of the best business simulations out there.

Hard working devs that are constantly active in the community hub offering advice and help on their game. This is massive to me as it's too common for lazy devs these days.
That aside the game is polished to perfection. The UI is neat, the objectives act as a constant tutorial which makes the game easy to grasp given the overwhelming feeling at first glance of the games mechanics and depth.
Easily the best in the genre imo, I don't usually enjoy business orientated games but this one has me and my partner engrossed until early hours.
Good game is good

It's a fun little business/logistics sim. Complex enough to give you a ton of options, but put together well enough to not get overwhelming (the more than decent tutorial / story mode helps a lot with that). Currently playing on 0.7, but looking forward to the new builds!

Wow wow wow what a game, this is fantastic. I'm only at the beginning but this is exactly what I want from a game. The management, the running of a business. Would be good to get accountants in the game, would be good to also be able to then have office movers available to hire out. Still working my way through this but keep going as you are and build on it I am here to stay. Maybe also expand to different countries instead of just nyc

Fun for a few hours when the concept is still fresh, but after that the gameplay loop becomes tedious and repetitive. Every storetype is only superficially different.
I dont really understand why there even is a playable character. The only thing you can really do is drive around and sleep. There is no social life and you cant interact with people or personnel.
I really like the concept of this game it really reminds me of tycoon city New York, but its just too barebones for me at this moment everything feels so stiff and lifeless.
Maybe in a few years things will be better but its just not there yet for me.

I generally like the game. However the whole employee trait system is creating pointless micromanagement of needing to constantly fire, and employ new staff. Security guards, customer service, and cleaners demanding a peaceful environment say it's "nice to have" yet will eventually demand that they have it or will quit... Imagine working at a MacDonald, and demanding a peaceful environment. Or working at a supermarket and demanding that they stop playing that awful Xmas music, because you want a peaceful environment while working in customer service. It's a stupid and broken trait.

Big Ambitions: A Deep but Time-Consuming Business Sim
Pros:
✔️ Extensive business management – Whether you’re running a tiny gift shop or building a massive corporate empire, there’s a ton of depth to sink your teeth into.
✔️ Freedom to play your way – Want to own a chain of coffee shops? A law firm? Maybe buy up all the real estate in town? Go for it. The game lets you carve out your own path.
✔️ Satisfying progression – Starting from nothing and growing into a business tycoon is insanely rewarding. Seeing your profits rise and your empire expand never gets old.
✔️ Realistic economy – Prices fluctuate, supply chains matter, and competition keeps you on your toes. It actually feels like running a real business.
✔️ Tons of customization – Pick your locations, design your stores, hire employees, and optimize every detail. If you love tweaking things to perfection, this game scratches that itch.
Cons:
❌ Can be overwhelming – There’s a lot to juggle, especially in the early game. If you don’t enjoy micromanaging, this might not be for you.
❌ Repetitive tasks – At some point, driving to warehouses and manually restocking shelves starts to feel like a second job..
❌ UI could be smoother – Managing multiple businesses at once can get a little clunky. Some menus feel like they require extra clicks for no reason.
❌ Some jankiness – A few bugs here and there, like employees randomly disappearing or a crash or two. Nothing major, but expect the occasional frustration.
Final Thoughts:
If you love deep business sims, Big Ambitions is an absolute treat. Watching your empire grow from scratch is ridiculously satisfying, and the freedom to run any kind of business keeps things fresh. Just be ready for some micromanagement, the occasional grind, and a bit of jank along the way. But hey... that’s business, right?
