I enjoyed the game, each room is unique in its own way. It was interesting to solve the puzzles in the second and fourth rooms.
Room three seemed like the most out of place in the game to me, but it was better than
Room five, which looked like it ran out of ideas and moved away from the intent of the game.
I partially disagree with the voice-over preceding the game's finale, which said that
I showed wonders of calculation and strategy, in room seven I showed only wonders of
of dementia and bravery (I was just jumping around the chessboard at random).
The game takes a maximum of two hours, but does not get bored.
Good graphics, great soundtrack.

The game positions itself as a horror puzzle game
But it is far from it. Yes, it's not a bad game with great graphics, but the levels are pretty mediocre (I can't call them puzzles).
I'm satisfied only because I bought the game at a discount of 80%.
+ Great graphics.
+\- Good storyline.
- Not scary!

Really pretty game but the puzzle design could use some work. I ended up using the walkthrough just to get through it. It could use some story to make you more invested in the situation, and rooms that rely on trial and error are not rewarding to solve. The papyrus doesn't make much sense even after decoded, and the painting riddles are too obtuse in my opinion. Overall, I'd really like to see more from the creators because I feel like there is some great potential and they care about making a good game, but this one is a bit of a miss for me unfortunately. At a low enough price point, it is worth getting to appreciate the good moments. For that, I will recommend it.

Although it starts off strong it goes off course by room three which to me made very little sense and I had to use a walkthrough. Also when I play a puzzle game I prefer less dexterity based challenges as I usually play with my girlfriend who is much more into the mind than reflexes.
It does have a great atmosphere and with more thought put into lore and puzzles that are more based on combining items/using cool items or something closer to the Rusty Lake series it could be quite good.
Good effort but not quite. Would still be interested in seeing what these guys make in the future though!

Was sold on "The perfect game for an evening of puzzles" but puzzles are NOT
- trial and error so you don't die
- avoiding death traps (that's platforming, not puzzling!)
- solving mazes
- manually translating hieroglyphs w/o useful interface for such
- etc
If all the doors had been like Door 1 and Door 2, it'd have been awesome. Instead it was the opposite of a relaxing evening of solving puzzles

This game is a fun way to spend an evening with a variety of challenges that uses different parts of the brain. I was hooked for the duration. 8/10

Played the first three rooms in less than a half hour, too bored to keep going. My audio also wasn't working properly for most of that time which detracted from the experience. If this is your first ever escape-room or exploration puzzle game then it could be fun, but there's nothing new or exciting here compared to myriad other great puzzle games on steam. Not worth the full price for a 1-2 hr game but could be worth it on heavy discount.

sort of fun. then you enter a poor lara croft room that is just annoying, you die and have to wait for some animation and.... well i got bored. puzzle games do no need terribly executed action sequences at puzzle pace. if i am correct this game literally consists of only seven puzzles out of which so far 2 are trial and error. i really cannot be bothered. . at least that didnt bore me to tears. if i want to die a lot i play lost souls. if i want mystery i play the room. if i want escape the room, play gordian rooms or the initiate. all of them have some depth
. 3/10

Seven Doors is an interesting puzzle game, it's not one made with a heavy budget or lots of people, but it's not a bad puzzle game. There are some things that could have been done better, for instance, in the third room, there could have been an indication for why you failed, to me it appeared like I died suddenly for no reason. There was a reason, but it is not made obvious. Another issue, is the use of deadly traps, which isn't solved with deduction or logic, just reflexes and dexterity. I get it, one room for different challenges, but in my opinion, unless the game is designed around it, dexterity reliant challenges have no place in a puzzle game.
Aside from that, the game is enjoyable, and I like the implementation of riddles. There is no issue with the English text, but for other languages there might be some errors, which could make the riddles harder than they are. Overall the game is well designed, in each room, there is just the essential things you need in order to solve the puzzle/challenge. Besides room three, there was not a single time I felt so stuck I had to look up the solution.

Played "Seven doors" for an hour without stopping in one breath. Exciting game that captures interest even more with every door and level, because all conundrums, puzzles are really different and peculiar.
It is one of the puzzle games, where I can mention good graphic level, nice choice of equipment and tools for playing.
I liked it's music - siundtrack, it fits perfectly with this game and creates the feeling of being completely immersed in the game.
Control is rather easy and comfortable, it didn't take me time to understand what buttons I have to push
In conclusion, I certainly reccomend to play this game: calmly sat down in the evening at the computer and enjoy playing!
