reminds me of the car game blur... i miss playing that online
this games usp is decent but gets old pretty fast
for a 15 year old game it already looked good even back then but this remaster does a great job of updating n optimization of an old game n allows games to be replayed
no micro transactions so definitely more my kind of game

This is probably one of the worst remaster games I've ever played. The only thing they've added on is a wrap editor. Sounds good until you realize that it's clunky and sloppily put together to the point it's hard to make a simple wrap. The game is still fun to drive around in and singleplayer isn't hard. multiplayer is a different story however. most don't even play the game modes properly. If you're playing as a cop, the racers just do circles around a certain point on the track trying to wreck you instead of actually trying to get away from you. If you still want to buy this game i would wait until it goes on sale because it's not worth the 40 dollars.
Edit: I'm also sick of using the shoddy 3rd party EA app which doesn't even work 90% of the time.

Un sucesor digno del Hot Pursuit 2 de PS2 del 2002, vale la pena totalmente y se siente como un verdadero nfs, que que me gusto? Todo, todo me gusto

Id recommend this game only on a heavy discount and for online while it still lasts. The gameplay offline does not hold up after all the years. Biggest complaint is the rubber banding they do with AI. While you do benefit some from rubber banding, as they slow down the AI some the further behind you are to them, the AI benefits exponentially the further ahead you are to them. I cannot count how many times I've had a Veyron Super Sport Pegged out in a long straight, just for an AI racer that is 5 seconds behind, to rocket out from behind me and climb into first. Or worse, slingshot from 5 seconds behind to 2 seconds in front last second at the finish line.
They're are some especially egregious tracks that seem to have consistent rubber banding points built in. Short cuts are even worse. Driving on some of the shortcuts, you know some aren't worth taking. Driving again and again with certain cars, you know what average speeds you'll be hitting on shortcuts, and dirt track short cuts that time and time again make my times slower with exotics and hyper cars, will allow AI to gain faster speeds than possible in the cars being driven. What's worse is that most times they will slow down after reentering the road, so much so that most times I will leave them back in the dust.
I get rubber banding for the police, but with racers often times it makes the race feel unfair. It's either you're being artifically held back to feel more of a 'challenge' or the AI 'allows' you to win. Neither feels like an accomplishment, either an unknown entity pitying you or showing gross incompetence in trying to force a win for the entity itself.
Hitboxes also are wildly different for each cars. Some cars like the CCX I can actively plow through roadblocks at near top speed without crashing. Some like the Veyron variants I can't graze cars without crashing, or i have to swerve far beyond a spike strip as the hitbox for the Veyron seems larger than the car itself. Driving is also vastly different, which is to be expected. But some cars actively fight you to turn or to drift. There are some of the mid to low tier cars that have no speed, no acceleration and no turning, that are ranked in their class in middle of the road. Where as I can out drive the car with what the game considers the lowest ranked car for that tier. There's one exotic car that when you tap the handbrake once, will not cause the car to enter a drift, then tapping the handbrake again cause the car to enter into a drift the opposite direction you are turning into, effectively reversing controls just for drifting. This car also has the worst steering out of all the exotics. Tracks are very generic and boring. A lot of the short cuts do nothing to break up the monotony. Tracks go long straights, sharp turns, hairpins, back to long straights.
It's way better online when you remove the AI aspect from the racers. A lot of the games downfalls can be forgiven with real players.

Loved Hot Pursuit when it released way back when, but EA has done everything it can to destroy NFS with its own "service." EA launcher can bite me and has convinced me to drop a negative review for every title I see using it.

Despite EA adding not much content into the remastered version, Hot Pursuit is one of pinnacle NFS games. It runs smoothly and it is simple, fun without BS story and BS cutscene.

Playing on Steam Deck.
Very good game, but it requires mandatory log-in on EA Origin before you can play.
Sure, you can log-in before leaving somewhere without WiFi, but that beats the purpose of a portable console.

It doesn't matter what the game plays like. EA forces its own launcher onto the pc and sets itself to run at startup. I can think of about 3000 more fun ways to get digital herpes, and none of them require me to put scumware on my PC.
