Hey there, Jeremiah from Gladatora here, I wanted to drop in and say I am loving the game and the new version looks amazing.=) This is a top quality RPG maker game without a doubt and I recommend the game to anyone interested in RPG's. You should be pretty proud of the work you've done.

Nice combat-oriented RPG. At the moment, the gameplay loop looks simple, but addictive: one or more battles in a row as part of the main quest or in additional modes, work with loot and, sometimes, communicating with the NPC. + 8 different classes / characters with unique skills; + interesting combat system; + good story; + - only one location (hub), battles take place on separate areas; + - no sidequests (non-plot battles are difficult to consider as such); + - RPG maker; - not a very convenient interface. I think that the game justifies its modest price!

Good and simple nice game for me , player who play rn around 170+ rpg maker games From popular one and a little gore (Witch house,Mad Father,Towelklet and etc.) ,to game with RPG elements like this. This game have a Casino – a gambling location. There you can play some minigames like find 2 pair, slot machines, roulette and monster battle ( you need a choice where you wanna a hit monster) also you can get here a good armor item which double your money after battle(you can get from hard battle around 5k gold). Proc. Rpg maker game with not so much grind(at me) , interesting simple gameplay and lore about “dream” catastrophe. Cons to me I need a little more time with exacavation location bcs I’m not so fast clicking and sometimes miss buttons. RN FIXED at 23 february 2021 year. There you can found a some bugs, but dev respond quickly on threads, and try to fix them as soon as possible (almost immediately) You can be stuck sometimes at hard battle and need a little grind to get a better weapon and armor , or a change strategy. For example 1 boss of City Location have a good healed ability and you need unhealed ability to stop him healing ( you can use Anna for that). Most a hard location to me it’s will be a City location especially last boss.Bcs I’m try to grind resources for a good weapon and armor to kill him but still gonna die. After 2-3 try(get a better weapon, armor , items(2 resurrect items and 3 healer I) and 2 healed fairy – light element) I’m killed him but lost a half of my characters in the end(Only Anna and Sakia survived ).

This is a very nice game! It's a type of game that can be grindy if you want it to, but in a good & encouraging way. I love the music and character art, and the battles are fun! I definitely recommend trying it out and seeing if you like it since, well, it's free.

Eternal Dreamers originally caught my eye because I thought the character art looked appealing, and I was pleasantly surprised to find this eye-catching variety carried over into the gameplay too. With the 8 characters you're given control of, I did stick mainly to 4 for most of my time playing with occasional dabbling in a few others (my main 4 being Anna, Sakia, Reiketsu and Natsume). The game is very grind-focused in terms of combat so finding a team you like and optimising your style of play feels like one of the main aspects of the game to me, and giving options to expand the characters more via the use of bonding events (of sorts) to upgrade their stats, and also the spirit system was a nice touch. The game did appear to be a standard RPGMaker style game which all tend to clash together for me, but something about this one stuck out long enough for me to give it a shot and it did end up hooking me for a while as I found the battle system to be enjoyable and satisfying when finding the combos you like to pull off. It follows a standard turn-based approach but I feel it does it well with a combination of little mechanics that tie together the moves you can use at any given time. The gameplay loop in general feels rewarding and also just very relaxing to play, the kind of thing I can grind away at whilst watching something on another screen. There were a few things I thought would've been nice were they to be implemented. One is that I wished there were more chances to develop your characters in terms of skills and strength, as past your stat upgrade of choice on a bonding level-up, it felt like I was mostly just hoping for good drops at the end of the combat rounds. Perhaps a small skill tree, or choices every few levels for more prominent upgrades could be cool to opening up wider character customization and how you want to build your party. It also seemed like once you learn your character's 5-6 skills, there aren't any more for you to learn later, only level upgrades to the skills (I could be wrong as I haven't progressed to the end content yet, but it's my impression after around 10 hours or so). It could also feel a little slow at times, as it only seemed to give you loot and XP when you clear a full round of enemies, which could range from 4 and more encounters in a row depending on the difficulty of the area you're tackling. This could be a little frustrating when one person gets KO'd unexpectedly (keeping in mind reviving party members isn't really an option, with one sort-of exception) and you're forced to end your run, as being one or even two members down really halts your progress particularly on the boss rounds. I had other minor complaints such as how small the bonding event talks last (only a few lines or so), no clarification on stats gained on level-ups or just a general feel of lack of progression, which could just be part of the issue with grind-heavy games in general. I imagine a lot of these things would be ironed out or more expanded upon in the final release, but who knows. Eternal Dreamers has some fun and relaxing grind appeal and a lot of potential, and I'd be curious to see how the game grows and gets polished and more refined over the coming months. If you're looking for some solid grindy gameplay loops and don't mind the general RPGMaker aesthetic, I'd say it's worth looking into.

Pros: -Refreshing turn-based combat system. I’ve never played one like this before, and it really is quite novel -Eight playable characters with completely unique playstyles right from the start, meaning there is a near endless potential for experimentation right away -Many customization options for every character in the form of equipment, particularly socket pieces -Constant feeling of progression via unlocks or new equipment -A lot of content for early access with more coming (I’ve played four different mission types so far, plus the casino) -The art has a lot of character -Great, upbeat music Neutral: -No overworld besides the hub area, meaning no real exploration -Grindheavy, so surely not for everyone Negative: -Getting new abilities is regulated by RNG as you need to find items that teach you a respective ability. That means some characters feel somewhat incomplete until you do At this price, I wasn’t expecting a lot of depth, but after playing for a good number of hours, I am quite surprised how much meat there is to the game! As advertised, the game is all about the combat. That’s definitely not for everyone, but it turned out to be really relaxing to just play stage after stage getting new abilities and equipment. I am excited for the new areas being added soon as well! As is, I fully recommend the game in its current state!
