Would I recommend the game? No, honestly not. What I've been given is more annoying than cool. Luckily, everything that's irritating is something that the developer can fix in future games. Before I talk about the issues, I wanted to talk about what I liked about the game.
The music is the immediate highlight, it's really comforting and definitely works in the context of the game. The backgrounds are all really lovely and excellently drawn I'm not sure if these things were made by the developer or not but if they were, great job. Also the story is interesting, even if it's communication could be way better.
Now the issues. I really only have 2 issues and I mentioned one of them already. The story is communicated really poorly through 3 text blocks and a police report. I really like the use of the police report at the end because it could easily have been another wall of text but it's unique and I appreciate that. However, the walls of text are all expository. The best stories are shown not told because you're able to achieve a greater level of immersion when you can see events. I get the feeling that cutscenes are a little bit out of the budget/ability of the developer but maybe instead of a movie to communicate the story it could be a playable scene to transition between mazes.
My second complaint is the most game breaking. When you move on platforms, your speed is great. However, the moment you step on the stairs (which make up around a half of your total pathways) your speed slows to slower than a handicapped snail, making half the walking utter torture. I honestly don't know why it's this slow but it is and I really don't like it.
I feel like it'd be so much better if instead of sets of stairs, you transported yourself vertically via ladders. They're smaller which means that the area that you need to dedicate to where the player would come up from would be a small square and not a large semi circle. It would also be way easier to program a ladder into the game instead of a set of stairs which I assume is much harder to put in and make work.
Conclusion: I really hate steam's rating system. When a game is recommended you think it could be a modern classic and if it isnt then its the worst thing ever. Despite the fact that I said that I recommend it, that doesnt make the game amazing. I would rate the game a 5/10 because I really like the feeling of a 3d maze. If you have enough for the incredibly reasonable price tag, I think you should buy it. But what you get is a nice experience that is still very short (11 minutes to beat) and clunky game. However, I would love a way less clunky game with a fully realised and communicated story and music and visuals that are just as good. I like 3d mazes.

I have played just 11 minutes of this game thus far and I am quite impressed. I like puzzle games and this is certainly a puzzle. For just 79p it is a bargain. Yes, it is repetitive, but so are traditional mazes. If you like to do a maze and want a new challenge then this is the game for you. If you are not into puzzle games then look elsewhere!
