This is a nice little block-pushing puzzle game. It adds enough mechanics to be interesting until the end, and it gets harder but not too hard. There's also an effort to make it look and sound nice.

I found Move 'n' Bloom a couple of days ago while looking for cute and chill games to play, and I'm glad I did! I really enjoyed playing it. I like puzzle games a lot, and this one was very much fun. Most of the levels are easy enough, but there are a few that took some time to figure out. And there is one level that's extremely hard. I definitely recommend it if this looks like something you'd enjoy.
It took me around 6 hours to finish the game but I'm sure completing it in less time is possible. I just took my time with some of the levels and went back to replay a couple of them (in hopes of finding secret levels - which I didn't, by the way).

This is an unashamedly happy game with it’s cute cartoon graphics, it immediately brought a smile to my face. This continued as it is a fun unique game. Some puzzle games manage to be technically good but are somehow lacking in the fun factor, this manages to do both.
It’s a mix of Sokoban on some levels, and/or ‘move one and you move all icons at the same time’ (ie like woodways). The objective on most* levels is to find soil squares and bring together all the same colours on them so they ‘bloom’ on the squares. New game mechanics are introduced making it more interesting as you progress. The cherries although clever once you ‘get’ it, might be the least intuitive of them. There is a tutorial level introducing the main aspect of the new game mechanics and mostly this is enough.
The one slightly negative thing for me was that on latter* levels I didn’t always understand what the level objectives were. I usually like to know what objectives are, not to work them out -having the time spent on HOW to accomplish the objective rather than try a few things to figure out what the objective is. On a few levels, I accidentally finished rather than purposefully work them out. This was the case in the latter stages when it is impossible to do everything (keep everything alive). But once I figured that out, I mostly got it. I’d have preferred that you had to keep everything alive in every level, that would have been more intuitive and logical (for me anyhow).
I really liked that there was an option to turn off the moving screen (it was making me sick), there was an undo button – z key (recent update says it is now unlimited). There is also a hint button which is always a great idea. Here it’s a well thought out, different amount of moves for each level. It’s only ever the starting moves but it is supposed to be a hint button, not ‘a keep clicking this and you’ll get the solution button.’ I didn’t need it, but maybe if there was a 2-3 moves hint from where you were that would be good although maybe programming that would be hard.
It has 73 levels in total, with hints in most levels but not in the last set of bonus levels. In-game options are - screen resolution (2560 x 1440 the highest), windowed/full screen, moving background on/off, separate sliders for music and sound. I don’t like hard games, and here it was a perfect level of hardness for me – a few tries and I got it. I’m really bad at Sokoban (I keep practicing at it but still don’t get better!) but don’t be put off if you don’t like Sokoban, the Sokoban side isn’t hard.
I appreciate that I could 100% a game with zero timing elements in it, you could take as many moves as you want in a level. There was an undo button, that alone deserves a good review. Thankfully there are enough other good fun unique things going on to make me recommend this fun, casual game.
