Loved the Viking Combat and the ability to defend and bash with the shield! There is definitely a moment of tension when multiple enemies surround you but keeping your cool and aiming for their heads is the best way to survive, I found. lol Excited to see where character progression goes, and what new weapons come online. Also the addition of new maps and enemies could paint this title in a great new direction!

Edit: I originally did not recommend this title, because I felt the content currently in the game was not worth the price. After careful consideration of the games early access statement and the fact some content is already being rolled out I've decided it's better than my first impressions warranted. If you buy it now beware that it's fairly bare-bones, however, there is a lot of content coming (at least according to the devs) so whether you get in early or wait is your prerogative. It's shaping up to become a solid title, it's just not quite there yet. That said, I'm giving it a thumbs up. I hope the development of this title continues to build on what seems to be a solid foundation. Original Review: In its current state for its current price I cannot recommend this title. I hope future updates will add a lot more content and make it much more worth it. Hold off for now, it's early days, there's some promise here and hopefully in the months to come the game will be worth playing.

Looks like another dead early access game. I really have to learn to stop buying early access. Prove me wrong devs, and i'll gladly change my review.

This is a solid VR fighter with some abilities that you unlock as you progress and hoards of enemies to go berserk on. While it doesn't quite have the fighting fidelity that B&E has, it does makeup for it with TONS of flavor and lots of satisfying hacking and slashing that sends still groaning zombie heads flying. Can't wait to see how this game develops! My wish-list: -More enemies coming at me - More types of enemies - More environments to progress through - More weapons

I had a total blast. Very satisfying slash action. I love the way you can slice through and dismember enemies with gratifying ease, versus having to hack at someone for 15 minutes to maybe get a limb off in Blade & Sorcery. I also prefer fighting monsters and critters versus the living sex dolls in B&S. The movement feels great, teleportation is a bit short, but the walking motion is steady enough I don't feel any motion sickness (also an improvement over B&S). The flick action to grab weapons was a bit to get used to at first, the weapons come toward you pretty quick. It would be nice to see them have a bit more weight for a more gratifying catch feel. But again, over B&S, I prefer this method of weapon pick up to the weird force pull. Being able to pick up zombie heads is a nice touch. Love the gore. Game runs smooth but still has interesting visuals. Can't wait to see what future updates brings!

Amazing combat physics, and cool magical rune spells! Super gory and fun! I want more! This game has a lot of potential to be one of the best VR combat games, yet! ...although, Gorn is pretty awesome..but this game feels like a realistic Gorn! My kids loved it, too..lol Love the Viking lore! It would be awesome to have some ancient alchemy crafting..or maybe witchcraft! Looking forward to the other features and RPG stuff the devs mentioned, too! ..especially VR weapon forging! Pros: -Combat physics is awesome, and makes you feel powerful -Graphics are amazing for VR -Cool spell FX -Cool voice acting Cons: -Only a single level ATM (Although the devs are promising more environments) -Captured gameplay came out too dark (Until I realized you can make it brighter, and turn on a spectator camera) -Enemy AI is good, but the bosses could be better. (I basically knock them down, and hack them to death) -Might be better if the enemies blocked your strikes, and if the bosses do special AI attacks. -I want to use these combat mechanics on a quest, or a dungeon crawl or something!

Decent physics , but man, it’s a wave shooter with a twist, Bummer it’s 2020 and people are still making wave games and escape the room games, please stop!!! WE WANT REAL GAMES WE c DONT WANT ESCAPE THE ROOM OR WAVE VR GAMES!!🙏 why don’t all the devs on steam unite and put all their amazing talents into making one awesome game? Maybe some actual revenue could be generated for all , and some really amazing steps can be taken for the anazing world of VR, just sayin 🤷‍♂️ this can’t take anyone truly I to VR away from MODDED Skyrim 🤷‍♂️

devs dont update anymore. bought it for 50 percent off because the gameplay is good, and assumed they would continue to update it. When I bought it, and still now, there is no content and gets boring in 20 minutes.
