Wow. Just wow. My first game in I lost 30 minutes of time. This is wonderful and so well designed. Great game.

Finally a proper good tetris for VR. The new 3d block that influences both sides of the playground is an absolutely brilliant addition! It makes you think way harder than normal tetris and I love it ! Awesome price to quality ratio.

This would've worked better if the developer just made traditional Tetris in VR instead of trying to reinvent the wheel. In order to clear lines, you have to complete the line in 3D space, both in front and back of the playing field. This not only slows down the game but makes placing the new block, a T block with one side rotated inward (making it 3D), especially frustrating. The developer seems to have realized this by including another new block, a single square to plug holes, but it's so rare that they're almost never useful. Other problems over vanilla Tetris include a lack of upcoming block preview, no increase in speed because of no falling blocks, and broken balance because you can place blocks anywhere. There's also no fail state outside of running out of time in Score Mode... You're expected to just realize the game is over when you can't place more blocks and hit the quit button.
I feel bad for putting a red thumb on what was probably someone's first solo project but they're still charging money for this. With how many variations and spin-offs of Tetris that have been released over the years, there's no reason to buy this. It's not even fun to play seated because of the range of motion required to place pieces. You're better off just playing vanilla Tetris for free on countless websites in your browser.

It's a nice take on the Tetris idea but in VR. Haven't figured out what all the special blocks mean yet though.

Vetrix delivers exactly what it promises - an addictive VR spin on Tetris, nothing more and nothing less. It runs smooth, handles well and scratches your itch for spatial puzzling.

A great Tetris variant where the play space is two rows deep and instead of falling pieces, you just grab the next piece and place it anywhere you want (even floating above the others). There is no rush other than trying to get on the leaderboard, so it can be a nice relaxing game or it can be a hectic race to do better before your time runs out. You can conveniently adjust the height and placement of the play space and serving deck to accommodate your play style (tall or short. Left handed or right handed). Coins and hearts appear at the top of the play space and fall only as you clear lines. You have to fill in around these obstacles but they give extra points (coins) and extra time (hearts) when you clear that row. There is also one new piece that forces you to play across both rows, which can be handy or infuriating, depending upon what you need.
The local leaderboard is tied to the account, so you don't get to identify who got what score, so in a house of Tetris nuts (like mine) you have to keep track of who has high score manually to ensure bragging rights.
Highly recommended if you like Tetris and VR.

I've been playing Tetris for decades and only now do I find out that adding a third dimension to Tetris is the actual and only way to play.

a very nice, entertaining VR diversion. The mono-colored graphics suit it well -and I had no issues interacting with it in my Oculus Rift S.

VR Tetris without gravity but with additional layer of depth. It's ok to play a few times, not nearly as addictive or replayable as a classic Tetris.
Vetrix plays more like a 3D jig-saw puzzle than Tetris: not having blocks falling towards the bottom removes difficulty curve and adds very annoying chance to misplace a piece somewhere in the air.
Old school visual style looks decent in VR and performs smoothly.
Works on Reverb G2

It's pretty fun! It takes tetris and adds in a second layer, some additional block types, and other challenge elements.
These changes add a required sense of spatial awareness to the game that isn't really present in regular tetris. It ends up playing quite differently from your standard 2d tetris, even though the mechanics are ultimately similar.
The graphics are really good as well - feels very crisp in headset - the music & audio is great as well.
It's a simple game, at a simple price. But I think if you're into Tetris you can get lots and lots of time out of this one.
This would also be a great game to showcase VR to people, I think. Since it's got a simple gameplay premise without any form of locomotion. For the price it's worth it even not on sale.
I think almost every VR player should have this one in their library. Especially for the price.
