Tried playing this on Linux when it came out - was very buggy, kept falling through walls and couldn't get past the first jumpy pillar. Tried it months later on Windows and turns out I'm just terrible - still can't get past the jumpy bit! Haven't rage quit this hard since Dark Souls 10/10 would recommend

Fun game with a positive vibe. Definitely worth the small price...it goes to a good cause. This game is worth an hour of your time. Challenging quest with a splash of good humor. The developer did a great job integrating game play and filmed videos. Waiting for more games from Puggy Studios!

tl;dr: Call of Corona: Micro Warfare is a MUST buy if you are human CoC: MW will go down as one of the highlights of the Coronavirus pandemic in 2020. It evokes something which you've likely not experienced in a long time: pure bliss. From the top-tier graphics (wait until you crank the settings up to "Goddamn Beautiful"!) to the revolutionary platform mechanics - you will be stuck wanting more long after the game is complete. CoC: MW will likely go down as one of the most influential games of its' time. It will be studied by game devs for years to come as the next evolution in single player experiences. Completely free from any P2W or MTX mechanics, you're able to get a glimpse into when games were developed with a simple goal in mind - to have fun; not to hook it's players and bleed them dry for every last nickel they own. Best of all, CoC:MW retails for less than the price of french fries on Uber Eats. This level of value in gaming will likely be unmatched for years to come. Don't spare yourself the experience of a lifetime - buy CoC:MW today!

I had discovered this game through undorthodox channels - it was posted to a torrent tracker and from the title I thought it was a joke by the uploader, so came to steam to see if it was for sale. I'd purchased it not expecting anything close to the standard of what I just enjoyed. In short you play through a story that reminded me of 'Ozzy & Drix'; playing as a dormant Antibody Agent who's reawakened inside NotTomHanks' gut after being swallowed, in a last ditch effort to fight the 'baddies' and prevent another celebrity death. The game doesn't provide a compass, HUD navigation way-points, nor provide a torch any more illuminating than a damp paper match. I was disorientated across all 3 axis at times, felt lost and occasionally saw no obvious route of progression. The lack of security or comfort your dollar store flashlight, handwritten map created as you venture through the alien levels was reminiscent of the 'Amnesia' series and with this brought genuine moments of fright followed by dread as my gun locked up through uncontrolled panic firing leaving me to be engorged by humanities most famous snot villain. Despite it's length and lack of complexity, CoC: MW has this delightful 'Homemade' charm throughout it's well executed 'less-is-more' approach to game play mechanics. The humour throughout is delightfully quirky, in places bending the usual video game 'rules' or 4th walls to achieve something uniquely silly. The delivery of the humour feels natural, unlike for example - Borderlands' corny one-liners, references and jokes that feel like they've been forced into the script with some help from the hydraulic press youtube channel. The game has left me surprised in that it's made me experience such a broad range of emotions in such a short time that I start to wonder how so many titles produced by larger game developers frequently miss the mark. My expectations were low, however, were they higher - they'd have still been pleasantly surpassed. The finale was so much more rewarding thanks to the acting. If this is the first game from this studio, I eagerly await another. I only have one suggestion for the developers; if they could be the spawn of the red blood cells a bit more consistent or up the quantity? Damn it - I'm going back in for that damn gum achievement.
