Have you ever pretended your hand is a plane/spaceship and zoomed it around going "pew! pew!" blowing up bad guys? Ever play a "bullet hell" game and thought it might be cool in full VR? Shooty Skies Overdrive let's you play pretend again, and shows just how cool it can be. There are Power Ups to give your off-hand things to do (with full right/left handed support) and difficulty levels that live up to the name "Overdrive." Progression, checkpoints and gameplay unlocks help keep things fresh, and let's you tweak numbers to get the Power Ups you prefer. Nothing hugely sophisticated, but varied and hectic enough to keep me coming back for more. Bright but low-fi graphics means it runs like silk, even with a million bullets in your face.
Final Verdict: Like Pistol Whip, its a fun pick-up-and-play game: while I probably won't sink many hours into it at a time, I do see myself dropping back in for a spin on a regular basis.
Here is the first world gameplay (and starting the second), with no commentary: https://youtu.be/_C7u_Xv40MQ

IMO This would have worked much better as a free to play game (earn or buy cool pilots, more emphasis on a variety of challenges, not ads, of course), but unfortunately I guess that's not really an option with this marketplace.

It's bullet hell in VR and it is amazing. There are three difficulties so you can choose if you want just to relax or you want real challenge. This is nice and simple roomscale game that can be used to introduce new people to VR.

Not super difficult, but a highly polished wave/danmaku VR shooter.

It's a port of Shooty Skies in VR (with no micro transactions).
If you don't know what to expect, play Xortex from The Lab.
Is this the most ambitious VR title ever created? No it is not. It is, however, a polished experienced (which is a lot more than what similarly priced VR games offer).

I don't have a ton of time in this yet but I've played enough to know it's great. It's adorable and genuinely cute but also really intense and your airplane will blow up after a single hit but there's a generous enough checkpoint system in place to make up for it. This game needs to be in most peoples' VR libraries. Not all but definitely most. In this case it would mean people who like flying chipmunks and whales that shoot and destroy enemy 1990s portable consoles and pinball machines while a rad Tron looking joint plays out in the background.
Give it a chance (or ignore it and be the kind of person that dies alone in a dark room).

Works great by default with the HP Reverb G2 WMR. Nice VR title to add to your gaming library. It was better than expected in terms of immersion and color vibrancy. I recommend it if you're seeking a nice casual game to kill some time in.

Awesome "bullet hell" game.
i finished the game on normal and came back more than a few times to replay the levels to unlock new pilots.
really polished with great performance and colorful enemies.
5 levels with 2 checkpoints each, subbosses and boss per levels.
has an accesibility option where you dont need to press anything to shoot.
I got it on sale and i dont regret my purchase.
