Choose Your Own Adventure books have always been my favorite books to read since I was a kid.
Fabled Passage is one of the best series of CYOA and this game is one of the the closest virtual CYOA
10/10 would adventure again

Well. I would say the game is suprisingly decent. It is not for everyone but it is a lot of fun for me (I didn't knew for example that it originates from a book series) but it was hard to get into to be honest.
I would rate it 7.5/10 (which is still good for me. For a better store it would have needed some of the events that change your appearance matter more and some stuff in the UI-design solved).

I wasn't sure if I wanted to recommend this game or not but it feels fair to recommend it for what it is.
This game is an old adventure book from the 90's where you hold one finger on the previous page in case you chose the worst option. In that regard, you get exactly what you want if you know that the Fabled Lands is one of those books.
It was fun back then but it does not translate very well to a modern computer game. The reason that rogue-likes are popular is that you need some kind of reward when you start over and you don't want the game to be exactly the same on every try. This is static as a book, because it is a book.
