Bragger's Run was a bit rough in the edge but I did enjoy the fast paced gameplay.
- The first apparent miss was gunslinger aim did not shoot straight at enemy, even you perfectly mouse your cursor center on enemy, so you had to offset left right a bit for projectile to hit. This kind of hiccup should not be present in the full release anymore.
- The damage tuning was a bit concerning, one boss attack could one hit or two hit you. I got one hit that took 80% of my HP in just first boss.
- You moved faster when move diagonally, not sure if dev intended that, but I felt I win the system on that so a feature XD.
- I liked item exchange system

I have to give it a recomendation because I neither liked nor disliked the game. Bragger's Run is a good concept. You play as one of three roles, your loot is random, and you have the option to save up to two items and lose everything else upon death. I get hints of inspiration from Gauntlet, and I can see the potential.
The only gripes I really have with this is that each level is a small arena, and as I get into the stage it ends abruptly and I move on to the next. I feel as though I don't really get to do much each mini arena I play in, even as I get a little further or with boss fights. Some hits can be cheap (such as an enemy randomly appearing near you causing a barrel to explode), and the inclusion of bullet hell mechanics to them is a nice touch.
I will complain about the lack of a roll/dodge mechanic. Yes the duelist has a dodge attack but it isn't the same. It would just complement the fast paced combat a little more to have that option, especially given has sparse health is to acquire here.
Again, this was a VERY middle ground title for me. I walked out completely neutral. I didn't hate it, but neither did I truly like it. After about an hour of gameplay, I've had my fill and will move on. If roghue likes are your thing, I'd definitely keep an eye on this one (which I am going to do myself) as there is a damn fine game here that needs a little more time and refinement, which I hope the devs will put into it. I wish them all the best with this project, and hope the full release gets the love it deserves when that day comes.
