captivates with style and mysticism some puzzles are too clever or annoying (like 15 tag) some achievements are not counted, even if done perfectly. I did not want to replay them, because i have already played their games on the official website

Absolutely love these games by Rusty Lake. The whole vibe of the game is perfect: nice music, wonderful settings and positively weird situations and conversations. The puzzles are interesting and sometimes challenging. Have played and replayed most of the collection just to see if i missed anything. Would definitely recommend.

Jump scares! I'm not a huge fan of the jump scares. This set was a lot scarier than the other Rusty Lake games. I still enjoyed it a lot! It really ties the bigger games together and adds to the story.

i don't know if atmospheric is the word, but the clean art style, cryptic storyline, and charming settings hooked me on this franchise

I have known this series since I was a child, I love all of these games, they are my childhood and it tis nice to experience them once more. Very good games, they have a very cool and dark atmosphere, kind of David Lynch like. I defenitlely recommend this game, even if you don't like puzzler games.

Ever since I have come across these games I have been invested. The ost, the art, the stories. it all fascinates me and made me fall in love with psychological horror as a genre of game. If you love puzzles and a very obscure way of story telling I suggest playing these games. Rusty Lake has always had a passion and continue to give with each game.

Cube Escape is a true classic of flash games and each game expands on the story. One of my favorite franchises.

Rusty Lake is a series that confuses the heck out of me, but I still find myself drawn back to it time and time again. The Cube Escape Collection—a bundle of nine flash games from 2015 to 2018—brought together the origins of the overarching story that now spans multiple games. I originally started with Hotel, as while they do have a chronological order, they obviously don’t need to be played in that order. I enjoyed it a lot, no surprise there, with the many WTF moments. Despite hitting some roadblocks where I couldn't figure what to do without a guide (difficulty tended to be all over the place), it was a great set of games to just jump into and have a quick session. In my opinion, peak puzzle gaming.

Cube Escape Collection is a collection of 9 games connected to the Rusty Lake series which I started a while back but never got to sit down and finish them. My first entry into the Rusty Lake series was Hotel, and thinking back on it, I really wish I had started with this game first. playing this makes the series make a lot more sense even if it's just a little bit with specific parts. the game itself is a point-and-click puzzle game, horror game, and mystery game, and personally, I think it does all of its jobs well. That being said, there were some puzzles where I was like, Man, what? or How the hell was I supposed to figure that out? But that issue slowly faded as I continued playing. I actually started to get accustomed to how they design puzzles and began really enjoying them. While there were times I got stuck for long periods (The Cave, I’m looking at you, screw that last section, lmfao), I never got so frustrated that I hated the game. In fact, it was the quite the opposite I actually felt mentally rewarded after solving the puzzles. That, combined with a solid episodic story, made the experience even better. The story is very confusing, like you really have to pay close attention, if you don't there's so much you'll end up missing with the story. hell there's so much I thought I missed even WHILE paying attention. so the game kind of forces your full energy. I honestly recommend before playing "birthday" and "theater" in this set of games to play Rusty Lake: Hotel and before you play "The Cave" to play "Roots" as it helps a lot with understanding everything in the story. I feel like without those games you will definitely sit there with the biggest eye brow raise. The closest game I can compare this vibe to is the Zero Escape series, though Cube Escape is definitely much goofier than anything in Zero Escape.
