Nice little game with some decent ideas, only found the save mechanic a bit tedious. Layered armor should be in every RPG!

Turn based strategy similar to Sproggiwood, hard af, you can wear the coif and the helmet together, 10/10

Nice retro style feels a bit like the mood of Minecraft. Game seems well thought-out in terms of pacing health pickups etc. (to match expected health lost) Even though the controls are simple, the game seems to present a tough challenge for those who want to go deeper

A cute little game, really hard to pass, you need to be tactical in here otherwise you'll get smashed

Fun game! Plays a little like roguelikes with its simultaneous turns but has nice, handcrafted levels. Positioning in combat is important as you usually have to use choke points or corners to avoid enemies overwhelming you. You have rudimentary ways to build your character. There are 3 different attributes (Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence) and 8 different spells (4 combat and 4 magic ones). Also weapons scale with certain attributes. Sadly there is no explanation how the system works in-game but the developer explains it in the community hub. There are also a few puzzles and secret loot in the levels which makes exploring them worthwhile. Puzzles are easily understandable except maybe one that i found a little cryptic. A lot of the fun of the game comes from the resource management because health/mana potions are scarce and you often don't know if it's best to buy better weapons/armor or more potions to live longer. The last level was especially challenging but it was very rewarding to overcome the end boss by using the resources i had in different ways. All in all a fun little game and a clear improvement from the first game. 7/10

Entertaining and well-made RPG. It has a nice atmosphere and soundtrack. You must watch your health! Wish for a save option for beginners.

Fun roguelike-ish game that's very reminiscent of old classics I would have played on my dad's Mac in the 90's. You're able to start a stage over when you die, so it's not overly punishing. However, replaying a stage can become tedious at times since, if you're anything like me, you'll die a lot. I also found that you have to be careful to finish a stage with as much experience and gold as is available on it, because once you get to the next level there's no going back. Lots of features of the game are improved from the first Golden Fall, but I also find it much more challenging. Overall a good time and I hope to finish it one day, but I do think I'll have to restart from the beginning because I'm stuck on stage 5ish and can't seem to advance with the amount of gold I have :O

Excellent game. I enjoyed it very much. The gameplay is intuitive and fun and the thing I liked the most is the fact you need to think before you attack. Well done!!!

First impressions : Great game! Well done game - love that it makes you think! This is turn based - can upgrade your gear (the levels have same lovable vendors but with different goods). Currently, I'm in the catacombs and got ambushed by some skeletons. Fun and quite challenging!! Looking forward to playing this game more and will update the review as I do!
