Though at the time of writing I have had very little playtime, I absolutely love it. The graphics sleek and the design stunning - this game does not disappoint. I would wholly recommend this game to grand-masters and beginners (like me) alike. This game truly is swell.

Very interesting all the available variants. Now I can play differently. The game is very beautiful. Awaited the final version.

Incomplete product and the team announced they would no longer provide updates to fulfill their promises in order to work on their other games. Don't reward this kind of behavior from developers.

It's Chess. I have no witty title nor jokes. it's chess. The Chess Variants Club tells you all you need to know about it in its title. It has every variant of Chess you can think of, most of which I had no idea even existed. This game is also a good reminder of just how bad I suck at chess; even on the easiest difficulty I generally get my ass handed to me from three different directions. The game does give you the opportunity to practice thinking ahead with its challenges - a separate mode in which the pieces are already set up so that if you do it right, you will win within the allotted limit of moves. I found that helpful, and a lot less frustrating than playing through a game only to lose because I a made a bad move ten moves prior that I totally forgot about and thus couldn't learn from. The game assumes you already know the rules of chess, so if you've never played before, look 'em up. If you do know how to play, look up some strategies and practice them here before taking on your friends. I did that and I definitely noticed an improvement in my skills.

A very complete game for lovers or simply connoisseurs of chess. Various options/variations of the chess game, with an extremely attractive look and perfect music for this moment of putting your head to trill and have fun. I recommend.

A chess game with a very nice design. The game features several variations of the game mode that I didn't even know existed. For players who love chess it is certainly valuable. Recommended!

To whom like chess and want to explore new ways to play. Besides the traditional chess game, Chess Variant Club offers, as named, variations from the original game, with different sizes of boards, different goals and, inclusive, puzzles related. In the future will be possible, even, customizations in the chessboards, pieces, etc. I nice game for a very good price.

This game is perfect, you should definitely buy it. There are lots of game modes and fun puzzles. Sometimes AI is really hard, it's a good thing. But I don't like the look of chess pieces. for example bishop and pawn look very alike.But this is not a negative feature for now, I hope different chess pieces will come to the game. Nice job

There was a breaking game bug in one of the puzzles but they were quick to fix it. Keep it up devs :) One small suggestion: Allow people to change the puzzle pieces appearance (not only the boards). I personally find the current pieces aesthetically annoying and distracting. Would love to be able to change it.
