Freedom! Do or Die Reviews
When terrorism threatens the world there is no need to send a bunch of iconic movie heroes back from the '80s. One under-funded over-powered mercenary is all that's needed to save the world in this epic run 'n' gun destruction-fest of a homage to Broforce!

Just bought this game - it is so much fun. If you like retro games like I do you will LOVE it! Fast paced and lots of action. Excellent value for money - I can't remember when a game last drew me in like this one does. It seems to be a mix of horror, humour and I love the graphics. Still struggling to get past level 1 at the moment but I'm not going to let it beat me. Treat yourself - it's worth it and we want more like this!

This an amazing game and one of those rare occasions when a tribute game is actually better than the one that inspired it! For the price it is a big game and it took me many hours to get through the 30 or so levels! The visual effects are stunning, the levels are well designed and I love how you can just blow holes or tunnels through the terrain.
The DEV wasn't kidding about the tough boss fights - they are epic. I was literally exhausted after finally defeating the jetpack boss.
Because you can basically create your own way through each level I find myself having fun replaying levels again and again, trying to find the most efficient way through.
Great action, great humour and the topless photo when you get to the end is an uplifting bonus!

This is an extraordinarily well-crafted game. The effects when pieces of the environment explode or chunks of stonework come crashing down causing clouds of dust are simply stunning! In fact, everything about the game is visually stunning.
I've never played a platform game before in which the enemies can pursue the player up and down ladders. That's quite novel. The levels are somewhat like a puzzle in that you have to destroy the right bits in order to reach places and make the right slabs of stone fall in the right places to form stepping stone through the route. You can try a different route on the same level. Learn by your mistakes.
The music is really good and the sound effects are good. Excellent attention to detail.
I have only played for a short while but enjoying every intense, blood-spattered minute of gloriously joyous destructive fun. I just don't want it to end!
