Very quaint little game with some really fun original mechanics and a surprisingly interesting story and characters. Art style is charming and the endings are nice as well. The only things I could possibly complain about is that
JessieXMary
has any relevance only... three times? and that the game doesn't have something special for completing it on hard difficulty despite the achievement for it suggesting otherwise.

I love this game. I like dolls, and bad ends involving dolls. oh and good ends. dolls are cool regardless. This game is unique, and theres not nearly enough content like it, in my opinion. 11/10, would become gothic lolita doll again.

Bizarre little game, a mixture of old school text adventure with a graphical set up and command menu system (doesn't have every command but has most) with survival horror and a turn based card focused combat system. It works, though, and I highly recommend playing on easy because the last difficulty swing is just brutal. The premise is you, your little brother, and your best friend/love interest end up coming to a mysterious mansion filled with living dolls and have to find a way out and figure out what's going on here. The art is a bit odd at times, but the writing is often great, descriptive and filled with character, capturing the voice of characters from across a wide selection of genres. It's satisfying to figure out a puzzle, exploration is constantly rewarded, there's a lot of endings to find, and the world building is surprisingly in depth. Also there's a Bloodborne character here for some reason.

Its a super good game. spooky monsters, optional romance, the ability to become spooky monsters and hunt down your former friends. not to mention a real good story, and unique battle system.

So this is a game I recommend. It's made by a friend of mine who makes another game I really enjoy called Pandemonium. I don't enjoy this as much, but it's made with so much love and care that I can't not recommend it! So it plays out like a turn based, tile based resident evil 1. The part of zombies is played by dolls and if you get downed you get turned into a doll or something similar. It keeps tension because combat is stacked against you, and you lose resources with each encounter. I'm not a fan of horror personally, but the combat system is fun once you get the knack of it. The storyline is pretty well crafted and certainly distinctive. On the whole if you like the stuff it's about, the genre it's in, I recommend trying it. It has a demo.

This is a good game. A bit small for my taste, but the atmosphere makes up for it. Fighting most enemies feels dangerous and the further you go off from the beaten path, the more scary it is to open doors and the more carefully you play. By the end of the game, that feeling dies down a bit - you've learned the mechanics and found the best equipment, but it happens late enough to complete the game due to the story (also quite curious).

Very rare game that brings the mechanic of joining enemy side instead of instant lose. I'd like to see more games like this one, when interesting gameplay and story make you ignore cheap visual style (it's nice in its own way, but still far from modern graphics. Do not consider game's graphics as disadvandage!).

For the price it asks, it's an alright game, if you're a fan of storytelling and transformations, you will enjoy 5 hours of this, another 4 if you go for hard mode. If you buy this for the card aspect of this game, you'll be left disappointed, it's very superficial, there's so little you can do to change your deck, so much so I'm sure you can finish the game from the beginning to the end without ever modifying the deck.

I found this game not long after it first came out on itch.io and the day I opened the game I feel in love with it instantly. I played through the entire game in one day and night getting every ending and seeing everything it has to offer as fast as I could because I loved it so much. While this game is far from the only factor in this I will say that when I found this game I was just starting to discover that I might be trans (turns out I am) and it was one of the things that helped me finally realize that I was. This game means a lot to me and I'm very happy I found it when I did. I'm planning to go back and replay it soon so I can have all the achievements on steam. Thank you for making this game Bottled starlight and I'm happy to say I've loved all the games you've been working on after making this one.

An absolutely wonderful game! Along with fitting a nice spot in the horror genre in general with how creepy transformation can get, this game delves into something games have at least hinted at: Submission to the villian not just in cutscene, but gameplay. Though a growing number of games are allowing you to be the villian, this idea of 'perma-corruption' as I call it is beautiful. On top of that, the map is never confusing, the puzzles are difficult but fair and the unique card/sentence fighting system gives the game a luck-based edge. All I can end with is, I applaud the creators for thier efforts to make this strange yet sweet game a reality.
